In-app purchase
I made the in app purchase but the remaining hymns is still not available. Disappointing.
Like having the hymnal, except...
Overall not a bad app to be able to have hymnal on my iPad, but an export or print option would be nice! A second suggestion would be a post it note option for each page, the ability to jot notes for musicians or worship leaders!
I've read a lot of good suggestions that I hope you'll consider...

Great App!
I love this app! I did not have any trouble loading the additional hymns like some did. There are 3 (albeit relatively minor) reasons I did not give this app 5 stars: 1- if you search by title and want to find a song at the bottom it can take a while to scroll through all the songs. It would be helpful if when searching by title there was a quick way to jump around alphabetically; 2- as others have already stated, it would be nice if multiple pages were side by side and could be swiped as opposed to having to scroll down for multiple pages. (It would also be neat to be able to swipe across between songs in a setlist instead of having to go back to the setlist to switch songs); 3- I wish it were possible to zoom out on the pages so the entire hymn page fit on the screen. It could also be cool if 2 pages could be displayed side by side in landscape mode. That would almost certainly be too small to play from, but maybe not too small to sing from. So, if not for those few small things, this would definitely be a 5 star app in my book!

Don't Take Lessons from the World
Thank you for providing this hymnal in a digital edition. It's one of the better hymnals available right now.
I have two issues with your app, though:
1. It needs to be Retina enabled. The interface looks like crap on my 3rd generation iPad.
2. Don't make this free. You are just trying to be like the worldly app developers. If you're going to have a "lite" version, at least have a separate full version. The way it is now, it appears dishonest, and that's not the way you want to look.

Terrible
Downloaded the free app only to discover if I wanted the entire songbook, I'd have to purchase. That was ok, I didn't mind paying for it. However, when I paid for it, I wasn't able to access the entire hymnal. It kept telling me I had purchased it, and I needed to download it. By pressing "ok," I would be downloading it. No other instructions as to how to access the material. I tried syncing my ipad with my computer, went to the purchased items in the istore and have looked in every place i thought they might have placed the paid copy. The money has been taken out of my bank account, but I still don't have access to the hymnal. I have never had this problem with any app that was free with the option to purchase. I have always been granted immediate access to the full app once I paid for it. I will never purchase anything again from Lifeway.

Just updated to full hymnal
This is a great app, no bugs seemingly, great hymns, along wi some of the more contemporary songs as well. One Thing I would really love the developers to add to this app is to be able to flick through the hymn book. The fill hymnal is new to me, so it is so annoying to go to the name, recognize it, go to the score, then go back, scroll to the letter of the alphabet or number and start again. If we could scroll from hymn 1 to 2 to 3 and so forth, would be great way to get to know hymns we know. Thank you.

I love having the hymnal on my iPad
I love having access to this hymnal from my iPad. If you press the more button, the description show $9.99 for the rest of the hymns. That's still cheaper than purchasing the Hard bound copy. I especially love the set list where I can add the hymns I want for a music service. I carry my iPad everywhere and this eliminates one more thing for me to carry to school or church. Thanks for creating this app!

The Worship Hymnal ROCKS!
Great app and lots of good selections in the free version. $9.99 seems reasonable to get the full 674 songs.
Search for words "what's that hymn that goes...", scroll through the songs by hymn number or by name, and create a "set list" - genius!
A couple of improvements I'd make:
(1) Optional animated page turning right-to-left and visa versa rather than scrolling up and down.
(2) option to shrink or stretch the page to fit the screen. Really annoying to not be able to see the bottom line, especially if you sing all four stanzas.
BONUS IDEA:
A "bouncing ball" or highlight that goes through the hymn at a user selected speed and plays the selected part or parts. Like a "MIDI" sound so you can get the tune right.

Have patience
It did take me 4 tries to get this ap downloaded, but my intent was spotty when I tried. Keep at it, it will eventually load the whole thing and you will have almost 700 fabulous hymns, with sheet music, searchable by title, lyrics and composer. It is a tiny bit tricky to play from at first, as you need to get used to how much to swipe to turn a page cleanly, but I love the hymn selections -- practically exhaustive.

Great idea but needs chords
Great idea but I would reckon guitar chords are a must, how many organists have iPads? I certainly can't use it without them.
