Issues need resolving
As far as looks, feel & handling I have no complaints. Here are my complaints however; I just love how when I'm in a race and in 1st place then all of a sudden my lead flashes back to 3rd or beyond and the other cars are at the finish even though they never passed me. I also love how when other cars barely touch me, my car flys out of control and hits the wall yet when I hit them my car still flys against the wall.Show lessJames Ballard
Meh.
The app crashes a lot now ever since it was updated. Also I had an increased gas can size (I think it was at 120) but since the app was updated it was dropped back to 60, why is that? Another thing, the tournament style racing is kinda boring since you can't really use the whole track. Racing through a whole track gives the players a better chance at doing well and winning. Glitch/exploit
Great game but there is a large glitch. When doing the challenge Sayonara SE, if you earn a key while doing it, when you press retry the key stacks. Like when you finish and you didn't get a key, it still says 1 key earned even though I didn't get one. I got up to 400 keys without buying at level 13. I was also in offline mode. Used to be better
The new version is crap compared to the previous. The opponents are way too skilled and are faster than their car could ever actually go. I did apps to get keys and other stuff, and it didn't give me108 keys I earned and 110 keys went missing for no reason while I was playing temple run. The only good things about this version is that you can earn nitrous in the races as well as keys, and you can buy stuff with keys or coins. If you get 54 keys for each person you invite( which you should.) then I am actually owed a total of 272 keys.Show lesskitten kibble
Great!?...
This game seems really awesome. I love the slider throttle and steering controls. Finally heres a racing game where you can control the throttle and braking! My biggest complaint is how graphically laggy it runs on my iPhone 4. I mean I know the graphics are awesome so maybe it's optimized to run on the 4s or iPad? It's a little frustrating but I don't know if it's a legit complaint or if I should just wait till I get a better device in the future and enjoy it completely? Another thing, everything seems really expensive to level up. I get annoyed a little with these free-but-not games. Why can't developers just make a lite version and a full version that you have to pay for one time that has everything. Not this spend $50 for 30 credits or whatever bs... Maybe I'm just cynical because I can't play it enough to earn them in game.Show lessGLCS2110
This is awesome!
I like this game a lot it's one of my top favorite games on my iPad. It's fun racing but I get a bit competitive when people pass. I do admit that it is hard to get keys but, when you race and fill up the"xp" bar you get coins or keys. I have not found any need to buy from the in app purchases, where they offer more keys. You will get keys if you just keep patient. Overall wonderful game! I really enjoy it!=)Show lessKarate Kid 14
Great game, but the AI has a major flaw
I'll start with the part I don't like first. I found a major flaw in the AI and the game isn't as fun for me now. It seems that the computer cars only drive plus-or-minus a percentage of your speed; if you drive very slowly, the rest of the pack stays right with you...the whole race. If you upgrade acceleration on your car, you can drive really slowly right up until the end and then floor it to pass most/all the AI cars. It's a nice way to make money, but not very fun. Try it - when the race starts, barely inch forward and watch the other cars.
Now on to what I *do* like!
The graphics are great - I feel like I'm playing a really great XBox (1) game in the palm of my hand!
With 4 control options you can easily find the method that works for you. Personally I don't like using the accelerometer to play driving games, so it's awesome that there are 3 other options.
Upgrades are expensive, but if you keep playing the same races over and over you can upgrade pretty quickly. I'm not thrilled that the best upgrades basically require real money, but since the game itself is free, I can understand.
Overall it's a great game. Just ignore the AI flaw and it's a lot of fun!Show lessFaloopa
GAS REFUSES TO RECHARGE!!!
Initially, I really thought this game was going to be a nice one to pass time with at work, and had been recommending it to others. Then I found out that once I ran out of gas, I have to either use keys that run out as well, and are nearly impossible to get unless you pay for them, or just pay for the gas. THE GAS REFUSES TO RECHARGE. It's ridiculous. I exit the app and the timer begins counting down, like it's going to award more has when the time expires. It does sometimes if I'm lucky (but hasn't made it back to a full tank once). However even if it begins to award me a little bit of gas, if I exit the app, it's a huge gamble that when I return, the gas will be completely empty again. Not cool. I will probably be deleting soon if there is no remedy.Show lessffbirv26
Could be better...
This is a cool game, but I only have like two things I don't like about it. One, the gasoline thing. Two, THE AI DRIVERS ARE SOOOOO STUPID!!! IDIOTS!!! THEY CANNOT DRIVE!! No matter how much they wipe out, i never crash, but I always come in 5th or 6th. I would like to race without having to use nitrous. And you have to eventually buy more keys so you can get more nitrous. All I'm saying is FIX the gasoline problem and FIX the drivers. Original Midnight Club Clone
If you enjoyed the midnight club games, you'll enjoy this. Great customization options and very arcade style, but not quite nfs. The problems are few BUT it's a freemium by glu not gameloft. Get ready to shell out some dough. I haven't yet personally though. Also I would like an accelerometer with a gas and brake button. Lastly, if you really wanna be like midnight club, give this thing a cruise mode in open world.Show lessBEASTHOUSE!!!
