I have looked for a long time for a simple, low cost app to keep track of personal finances. This one seems to do the trick.
Pros: Simple interface; No subscription fees for premium features; Practical ‘budget' feature that helps you see how much money you have left to spend for the month (Very useful for controlling your expenses, but you may need to read the online help files to understand the way it works); Can sync with Mac or other iOS devices.
Cons: Dropbox syncing must be initiated manually on both devices (a bit awkward); The UI on the Mac is not as streamlined or nice as the iOS UI; The receipt function (an optional premium feature purchase) doesn’t automatically backup the copies of your receipts, making the feature unreliable.
Also, don’t expect an advanced accounting program that will automatically update your banking transactions via internet with your bank. This is a simple app for controlling your budget, without a lot of fluff.
In all a nice, practical app! Could be 5 star with a little work.
