  • Upgrade downgrade

Previous version was much better. Very straight forward and did what I wanted.
Now I have to watch stupid ads and swipe non standard glass sizes (can’t change 300ml) even though I’ve set up a glass in settings to be 250ml and then it can’t even be selected
Drinks didn’t reset to the next day (maybe thinks we’re all in the US)
The calendar dates are wrong (Monday 19 July 2022 doesn’t exist)
Unless I’m missing something I can’t find how to add say standard tea and other drinks but has some other random ones.
Too many things wrong with this update.

  • Very useful

Hi Developer, I want to thank you for making this app, however the newest version is Not Functioning as it should. When you touch the line it goes to 10.7 oz and it then sends a message that I’ve completed my daily goal. ***Your previous version was Simple, Clean looking and was very useful! Sometimes, if it didn’t break, keep using it and just improve on the functionality. End users are already used to the look and feel, a radical change will take a lot of getting used and may even have many bug fixes. ***Please put the old version back. Thanks!!

  • Ruined

I used this app regularly and found it easy to track my water whether I was using my iPhone or my Apple watch. Now they have updated it and it is unusable. It is too complicated to add anything on the phone and I can’t figure out how to add entries on the watch easily either. I don’t want to track other drinks – that is why I got an app called Daily Water. I also want to be able to set my default amount and just leave it. I am deleting this app and looking for a new one to do what this one used to do so well.

  • Why change what worked

I used to love this app until it was recently updated. I loved the icons rather than the calculation of the water intake. Please change it back to the way it was before or at least give an option where people can choose the icons rather than the oz amount.
  • Annoying ads & has a bug

Have been using this app for some time and it was a good app but since the last update it has become annoying. Firstly, having to click away from the pesky ads to get to the Home Screen is annoying. Secondly, after clicking on a glass that I’ve drunk the red indicator doesn’t update. It is still showing what I’d drunk 2 days previously. If the app doesn’t go back to how it used to be I will have to delete it.

Update: App updated overnight and now it’s become too complicated to use. It used to be plain and simple. So now I will be deleting it.

  • New app difficult to add water consumed

I wanted a simple app when I found this one. I liked the old version that I can simply tap on a glass and it would add my predefined oz and I could visually see my progress based on these glasses/cups. The new version on the main screen is difficult to move those lines and before you know it, it adds my entry which I didn’t want and is incorrect. Why not keep that original cup view and users can toggle views based on their preferences.

  • No longer usable

With the new update, this very simple app, which existed to do two things: track your water intake and provide reminders to drink, has been over-engineered into uselessness. It’s now bloated with a bunch of solutions that didn’t have problems. I’m out, and off to find a faster, simpler water tracker.

  • Dehydrated No More

Revised: 2022 Nee update is horrible. Will be finding another app.

I'm really bad about drinking water consistently. My old insurance company had a health program that allowed you to make appointments with a nurse, nutritionist, etc. over the phone. One of them suggested downloading an app like this. I tried it and it really has helped. I didn't realize how bad being dehydrated really is. I get bad headaches that I always assumed was due to muscle tension. The headaches could easily be a side effect of mild dehydration. In the Daily Water app can adjust the ounces shown on the cups, how many a day you want to drink and set reminders. Weekends are still a challenge for me to meet my H20 goal but having the app reminders helps. Daily Water App connects to the "Health" app. Great tool to remind yourself to take care of you!

  • I loved it – – until I had to bypass an advertisement

I really enjoy this app. I agree with the positive reviews of others, particularly referring to the delightful sounds that accompany my drinking of water. I too, however, would like to see the notification show how many glasses I still have to go, rather than how many I have already drunk. Again, I did love the app – – until they started having an ad pop up instead of the homepage. It’s very annoying to have to click two or three extra clicks just to get to where I want to go.

  • Don’t like new interface

Sorry don’t like the latest version of the app much prefer the simpler more basic interface of the previous version of the app.
Also the watch app doesn’t seem to work as advertised unable to add drink only displays those logged.

I’ve given it a two star rating for the reasons above but I’d rate the previous version five stars!

I’ll give it a couple of weeks to see how it goes but might look elsewhere for something else.

Does this app record and sync with Apple Health the caffeine content of drinks such as tea and coffee?
