This app consistently gives me the utmost worst answers ever conceived by man or by AI, don’t use this mistake of an application the only thing it does is take up space on your precious phone I’m literally failing a homework assignment because of this atrocious “math app” I would rather listen to my teacher explain it to me for 30 minutes in the most slow and monotone manner than consistently be given incorrect answers. I mean seriously how hard can it be. The devs have to be scamming you bc there’s no other way I can be given so many wrong answers and they just want you to buy their premium version which is probably worse anyways garbage app I recommend literally any other homework solving app I hate the devs. Even the name is stupid “Mathway” like how about I math my way into finding your IP address you bums. Stop giving me incorrect answers and hire some new people bc the ones you have right now are the always people that can possibly conceived. If I was their parents I would end up like Aaron Hernandez. Chegg is actually doing good?!
Right off the bat, I generally have a huge gripe with these education companies sucking and making awful tools for students to learn with. Even though Chegg took this app over not too long ago, I want to thank them for keeping things the way they are so far and I’ve had nothing but good things to say about this app. I’m a Physics major, so calculators and self-study help tools are so important for me.
My only wishes are a dark mode option, and being able to take past equations from the “history” section and copy and paste them back so you don’t have to type a previous equation all out again. Besides that, that annual subscription pays for itself 10x over and it’s the best smart-calculator on the App Store in my opinion.

The BEST Math Solver
I’m a Physics student. I’ve tried many features of many apps, but this is one by far the most reliable, and the solutions it gives are usually explained in much greater depth than other apps in my experience. I use the solution steps to learn what I’m doing right or wrong, and it gives me some ideas to do things I haven’t thought of before. Also, I love how reliable the picture taker is. I’m often shocked that it recognizes some of the problems that it does. Best of these kinds of apps hands down, and I’m happy to pay the subscription for it.
Only feedback I’d give is I wish in the “history” section of recently typed math, clicking on it would automatically input it all so I don’t have to re-type it out. Also dark mode (or at least not as bright) would be lovely.Show less
