Some instructions would be helpful and enable the user to learn and test their knowledge of genetics.

No instructions, no working interface
Shows an intro video, then shows a "Start" button that doesn't start anything when you tap it. If you press and hold the start button (why?), you get to choose from a list of first names, you'll be shown a summary of the person's work, and you'll be asked to enter a "location code". That's it. Good luck figuring out how you're supposed to enjoy that.Show lessDevvyn
Great App
I visited HudsonAlpha with a group of high school students who were attending a summer biotech workshop. The seventeen students all used the app on the trail and spoke very highly of it. Several commented that it was challenging and they were glad to be working in pairs but all agreed that they learned quite a bit and would gladly attempt the trail again. A great way to review and introduce some new knowledge but does assume a general knowledge of genetics and DNA.Show lesskmarie722
