Great app for great radio

App is highly stable over both cellular and wifi, very little lag or shutter. Fairly intuitive GUI and layout is visually very pleasing. I'd love to see integration with apps such as BandsInTown or Ticketmaster but as is it's a great app. Also, WERS is some of the best radio on air right now.

Great App, Quality Radio!

Wonderful app for a radio station that consistently plays amazing music!

Best station in US? With one of the best apps too!

If you like music, listen to this station and download this app. Works well anywhere!

Love WERS

Great station. I love having access to it wherever I go.

Great station!

Loved listening to this station when I lived in Boston, so happy this app allows me to continue listening now that I've left.

iOS 9 Compatibility issues

Since upgrading my iPhone OS to iOS 9. The app cannot connect to the station. A message pops up saying "cannot connect to station check connection". Doesn't matter how my phone is connected. Wifi or cell network. After closing the message the app closes but runs in the background. Someone needs to do some work on this no love listening to the station. Previous to this new problem, the app did have some issues. Playlist info wasn't in sync with what was playing. However I did notice that the stream was about 2 minutes behind the broadcast over the air. I think the playlist art was in sync with the broadcast.

WERS is Tops

Voted the best college radio station in the U.S. by the Princeton Review (which is pretty much the gold standard), WERS is where it's at. Commercial free, indie music, pop hits, reggae, LIVE MUSIC week, and new music you won't hear for months anywhere else, it don't get any better than this. If major radio stations were a little smarter they'd take a page out of WERSs book.

Out of the Ordinary & Much Needed

Great station! Enjoy local radio stations and especially this one because it trends well with the current generation(s). Plus it's run by Emerson College!
You guys & gals pick a massively incredible selection.
I also find it adorable that they play children's music on Saturday mornings.

Stay unique; stay cool. Thank you :)

WERS / Standing Room Only- The Best of Broadway and Beyond

As a cabaret artist and musical theater actor who was fortunate to appear live on SRO multiple times, I can state unequivocally that the on-air and technical staff are equal to any 'professional' station.

With small studios that share a large window on Tremont Street, and speakers outside playing the live broadcast, having a 'live' audience helps the performers attain a higher level of performance.

Performing live on SRO gives a big boost to the show; the station broadcasts with 50,000 watts of power, one of the most powerful student radio stations anywhere. This large broadcast power reaches a large portion is the of Eastern Mass. as well as New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, tapping into a much larger potential audience.

The student on-air talents learn-by-doing, with professional equipment and top-notch teachers. Upon graduation, these students are ready to step into any professional broadcast situation, knowing the equipment, FCC requirements, and deliver a professional program.

I am an Emerson Alumnus and am incredibly proud of the students and faculty who deliver diverse, exciting and revered programming (SRO), 365-days a year, year after year.

All the way from Japan, can't stop listening

Keep up the excellent music. Listen to you regularly all the way over in Japan, originally from N.E. Sadly, could not afford Emerson's tuition more than 20 years ago, even though I was accepted. I was crushed! Listening to you now is a little bittersweet, but I can't stay away from the excellent music.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Will make a donation soon.
