Perfect Puzzler
This was a delightful, often challenging game, but never so hard I gave up. There were a couple times I had to take a break or reload multiple times to try and get a different visual approach. I was completely absorbed for a few hours off and on, and am sorry the two level free trial is over :( I look forward to starting at the beginning again. Really fun AND relaxing!
A lot of times the word 'zen' gets thrown around in reviews to describe iOS games. I won't use the word here, but this is a very fun, challenging, and relaxing puzzle game. The levels are all nicely designed so far and take some thought, with nice graphics and New Age ambient sounds. What makes this game relaxing is that there is no time or move limit, you are free to explore and try different moves out. In addition, there rarely is a need to restart levels back to their original places- if one approach doesn't work, you can just try something else without feeling that you have no chance since you veered off from an official solution. Wow, I was not expecting that
I downloaded this game on a whim late at night, not expecting much out of it. Boy, was I wrong. It is incredibly fun, addicting and challenging. Most other puzzle-type apps out there are either stay too easy, get hard too quickly (in a way that requires you to guess what the developer was thinking), or they jump around between vastly different levels of challenge. This game, to my pleasant surprise, has probably the best learning curve out there. Just as you get used to one level of difficulty, it throws an increased challenge at you...but one that is doable, not one that eventually sends you to google in frustration. 2. A section where you can create your own levels! It should have like a grid, the token in the middle, and buttons at the bottom that let you place shapes, remove shapes, place walls, place blocks, change blocks between movable, unmovable, and inactive (you must touch it with the same shape to activate it), and move the token. If you are done you must first beat it and find the token to make sure it is possible. You can save the levels you make to 3 of your own chapters: Chapter A, Chapter B, and Chapter C. Each chapter can have 20 levels meaning we get to make 60 levels of our own, and we get to choose which of the 12 icons we want for all chapter A B and C. This will be awesome, and I will TOTALLY LOVE BLOCKWICK 100x more if you add this. In fact, you could make the level creation section $0.99! I'd pay for it!

Like a good book....
Like a good book, this is a great game to put down and then come back to as you work through the levels. Some levels are solved right away. Some I have to return to and start over several times to find the answer. Very addicting. Lots of fun. Not for the easily frustrated. Wonderful full "free" version. Very impressive!
This puzzler is one of the best designed apps I've seen on this store. Beautiful style, easy interface, and puzzles that are a true challenge! And the fact that you can try the first 60 levels free before buying the whole game is really nice. Lets you decide if you are up to the challenge before you spend your money.

My very first and only review of any iPad app ever, as I usually wouldn't bother unless it's extremely worthwhile to comment. Finally finished all 12 chapters of Blockwick, and I have tremendously enjoyed it. A superbly designed and crafted puzzle game that's exceptionally challenging (both in it's fun factor and mind-racking problem solving skills necessary for several seemingly-almost impossible stages), beautiful HD graphics, and pleasing ambient music. Thanks to the sheer genius of the developers for making one of the highest quality games, puzzle or any type otherwise, that I've ever played or paid for. Hope to see future sequels of such outstanding caliber or possibly even more chapters or updates. ;)Show lessTrint11
Great challenging thinking game
Every app Kieffer Bros make is a winner, and Blockwick is no exception. The game gets progressively harder, but at just the right pace. Sometimes you think they must have made a mistake, and that it's impossible to solve, but eventually you figure out. The interface is gorgeous. Beautiful, softly glowing colors. One of my favorite all time games. Very relaxing too, no pressured time limits. Never found a bug in any of their games either. The best game developer around.Show lesszhimbus
Favorite puzzle app!
This is my favorite puzzle app on the ipad. The puzzles are challenging but doable. The presentation is fabulous. You can almost feel the pieces as you move them around the screen. It is one of the very few apps I've paid to upgrade (Aqueduct by the same company was another) and it was well worth it. Highest recommendation!Show lessKCSMJ
More fun than most moving-block puzzles, really well thought-out
This game is unlike most "move the differently-colored block to the exit" puzzles. There you often get "stuck" because there's kind of one way to get to the end.
With this game, there's always a way to make progress, and when there are multiple solution blocks, multiple goals.
This keeps the game "alive"... it's great! Very well done.Show lessCLS
