No data
The app does not have any data for beaches. So not sure what the point of it is.
Decent
It was good for a bit but it hasnโt updated in months
Never updated. Unreliable.
What are you actually doing Heal The Bay? Why didn't you take samples for the entire summer??? Sad.
Limited Coverage and Inaccessible for Non-Californians
I recently downloaded the Beach Report Card app in hopes of accessing valuable information about beach conditions across the United States. However, I was extremely disappointed to discover that the app only covers beaches in Los Angeles. This severely limits its usefulness and accessibility for users like me who are currently trying to look for beach condition outside of Los Angeles.
As someone who frequently visits different coastal areas, I had hoped that Beach Report Card would provide comprehensive data and reports for beaches nationwide. Unfortunately, its exclusive focus on a single region renders it ineffective for people outside of California.
Given the app's name and the potential benefits it could offer, it would be far more practical and valuable if it expanded its coverage to include beaches across the United States. It is essential to recognize that beachgoers and travelers are not limited to a single state or region. By incorporating data from various coastal areas, the app could cater to a wider audience and better assist individuals seeking reliable beach information.
While I appreciate the effort put into developing this app, I am compelled to give it a 1-star rating due to its limited coverage and inability to cater to users outside of California. I sincerely hope the developers consider expanding Beach Report Card's reach across the country, allowing beach enthusiasts from all states to benefit from its features.

Far easier than using Safari on mobile
Clean layout easy to use. NowCast readings are a must check before every ocean swim.
Decent
I just got this app for San Diego. It doesnโt have all of the spots, but it has the main ones. What I do like is it shows the bay quality as well.
Useless
The only beach the app shows is Tijuana even after I type in my address! Deleted
Useful & great design
Use it every time I might venture into the water. Thanks, Heal the Bay!
LA only
The problem with this app is it only has data for LA no were else. So i canโt give this app my recommendation.
Finally!!! So useful!!!
I use this app all the time in LA when my family goes to the beach. I donโt want them swimming in water that could make them sick or anything. So the grades are simple and it looks like the nowcast ones are very timely. THANKS HEAL THE BAY!!
