Enjoyable
I enjoy this game a lot!!! I just started playing again in the last few years. I use to play this about 10 yrs ago, but switched phones and lost everything.. got ticked and didn’t start over because it takes along time and hard work to get to the level I was 700 something. I refused to start over. Well I’m back and enjoying it again. I tried to register my new account, but it won’t let me because it’s still tied up with my old account. Is there a way I can get my old account back?? An how do I link my new account to my email, because if something happens again and loose it all over again, I’m done. Please let me know!!!! I've been playing this game for 10 years. I've been spending thousands of dollars for this game for 10 years. Now, my reward for faithfulness is a game that can't fix it's glitches and punishes longtime players. I can no longer, in good conscience, recommend this game to my friends. Once Great-Not anymore
Castle Age will go down as one of my favorite games of all time, however, this game has been going downhills for years and is now on life support.
Pay to play, constantly under maintenance, hacks and scripting galore. Lags like crazy tons functions no longer work. They will take your money and won’t do anything when things act up or break.

Not sure where to start
They got a fun game at its foundation but it’s bogged down by bugs and pay to win mechanics. It constantly crashes and most of the rewards your supposed to get from achievements just aren’t given. If you want any meta generals you better be ready to pay because most favor points from achievements won’t be rewarded.Show lesskfncudnxhv
3 stars for 50% functional game
I’ve been playing castle age for a good while now (more than 5yrs) and have several friends who play along with my family. It’s a fun button push game with lots of things to keep you busy, but it seems recently the game crashes a lot. I understand there is a web portal but it’s just not as convenient as an iPad app. Sure wish the devs would fix these things:
Game crashes when reading 2-3 mail items
quantity selection pull down doesn’t work in land purchase;must buy land 1 at a time
Crash when buying more than 1 consecutive pieces of land
Crash if tap to attack monster/duel/invade too quickly
Not all achievements gain credit
Application support web portal crashes when issue is reported
I work in corporate software development for a international EPC company, and I was really disappointed when I took the time to describe these issues in detail and provided screen captures and hitting submit crashed their support site... not sure if these guys are trying to keep the game alive or not.Show lessTerribleeyen
The game is plagued with bug and glitches
Have played this game for years but it has gone worse with bugs and glitches. You don’t your purchases just the bill. And the support offered in app doesn’t work? When finally getting in touch with support (got an email from another player) they are rude and can’t be bothered to help and state the case is closed?? Needs work. Could be fun if it worked properly.
The game is decent but there are many flaws which make it forgettable. First is the constant crashing. This mostly happens when I reacting with any mail or notifications. Second is the iOS login is broken. I have lost three different characters to the iOS login before hundreds of people became bound to the SAME iOS login. This happened over a year ago and is still a problem. The amount of players in game have dwindled and I’m sure the reluctance of the devs to fix the issues has a lot to do with it.Show lessftw9000
Really bad these days
Let’s start that Gaea changed the game entirely, and that screwed everything up. When they changed it, I found my iPhone login has been given to someone else’s toon. When that happened my original toon I have to log into using the castle age login. When I got a new iPhone, I had to start over with a new toon. Months later Gaea did another change, and that one was locked out forcing me to build yet another toon just to get into the game.
Best part of all is they deleted my last one star review.

Please fix Facebook login issue!
The Facebook login shows only “expired” every time I try to get in, instead of asking me to fill in my login details again.
Please fix this so the Facebook login doesn’t become a broken function after being used once!

Complicated games are fun once you get the hang of it...
Great game! And the app makes it easier to access a lot of the features. Very complicated from the beginning, need lots of patience to learn and get the grip of things. Gets more fun as you learn more.
It would be nice if the in-between waiting page of Celesta can be updated, it's been like that for a few years already, giving that waiting page a new look would really enhance the app and give it a refreshing feeling!Show lessStarlightNightSky
