Slow and unreliable
Easily the lousiest of the 6-or-so guitar mags I subscribe to.BiggusPhonus
Yuck.
Application clunky and definitely not worth paying for a subscription when using the app is more difficult than using the magazine itself. Hard copy is quicker to flip through, easier to read. Why are we being charged for the iPad version when the electronic version via email was free? I like the magazine. I don't like the magazine THAT much.Show lessMighty Phalanges

Great magazine but the app is not ver good. Scared to subscribe to other magazines out of fear that I'll be dealing with more of the same.1way2rock.com

A great mag, but on the instrument sample links don't work which is a great shame - and some would say an essential part of this mag. Hope they get it sorted.Andyp13
New issues?
Hate that I can't get the newest issues on the app anymore. Also don't like that I don't have access to the PDF file on my monthly email. Very disappointed.FSUbido
Low iPhone Resolution
The magazine content is not at issue here, but the readability of the text in the app is very difficult to read on the iPhone 4S. When you zoom in the text gets very grainy and looks like smeared ink.
As others have noted; why the extra charge for back issues??? After all this is a "digital" version. What's free on the web should certainly be free after you pay for a subscription on the app. Have the "marketing weenies" taken over the magazine?Show lessSZimmie

Paying for free content - Twice!
As other reviewers mentioned, you're paying for content that's free on their website, but I thought what the heck, I'll support the magazine since they do a good job. So I thought I'd buy a 12 month online subscription - but then I found that the previous monthly issues were not accessible unless I bought them separately! Again, they're free online but after I just paid for a year's subscription, they want to charge me more to read back issues. Forget it! They've just lost a customer.Show lessMarkF786
