Great app for early stage land subdivision site planning, including layout of new roadway alignments, lots and building footprint. Useful for calculating impervious surface lot coverage, open space, comparing alternative walking paths, and documenting wild animal pathways. Also useful when comparing real estate properties.

Basic, easy and FREE!
Measures distances and areas from pins dropped either manually or on your location. Simply what I needed!
(I would just add a few more actions like dragging, clear all and quoted distances on each side of the polygon, but there are paid apps for that).fierrox
Trails
Great little app to show you how far trails are. I use it to plan for running events, and with the satellite settings, I can see terrain change. Great app.itbrti
