  • Incredibly motivating

I've always been a fan of chiptunes and video game music but never knew how to use the software to make them. I feel like this is finally my first step into the music world. Very intuitive and insanely fun. Been at it for hours and can't put it down!
  • Awesome Sequencer

A great and fun sequencer for the price. Quite powerful seeing that each "track" is not dedicated to any one instrument or voice. Nice work.
  • Not bad

This app is kinda cool. Something mess with when ur bored.
  • Good little app

Just started using this tool, and I can see the appeal. Might use it to record my next album...
  • *blows away*

This app completely blows me away!!!! Whoa!!! Amazing music creation app, maybe one of the best and most fun ones I've tried - which is saying a lot because I've tried a ton! the interface is simple but cool, and while at first I thought it was severely limited, after a few mins of playing around I discovered that really this app can produce many different sounds depending on how you maneuver the controls and settings. So have fun with this one, especially while it's at a steal price, FREE!

  • instant idea pad for bleepy riffs

The 8 bit tv is a nice touch.
    Very cool.
    Thanks
  • Great fun app

This is one of the best music apps I've used!
  • I have no idea...

I really have no idea what it would take to make this a 5 star app... Really it is already... But since everyone else already gave it 5 stars I just felt like being a dick :-)

Someone I showed this too said it was too slick for the interface to really be considered properly retro. Seriously? Perhaps there is an aesthetic line somewhere... But for my money it's 8-bit perfection... And tons of fun.

Alex is a rock star! Keep up the awesome work man.

  • Retro Sounds!

Quite similar to SunVox only a lot more straight forward, loving the quirky retro sounds and the retro interface too!
  • Quirky and fun approach to simple music

Long time follower of Alex's work, always delightfully minimalistic. From pixilang back on my old tower, to a copy of sunvox and every system I own, I've never been disappointed in his applications. PixiTracker follows perfectly in the footsteps of his past audio ventures, stripping away everything, but remaining innovative and inspiring to work with. Reminiscent of great minimal musical applications by other developers, such as drumcircle and nanoloop. A must buy in my book!
