Great app almost perfect!
I have dreamed about this kind of app. Recreating awesome police chases like in real life! Now that I have checked off that goal in life, I do have one complaint.
I use the joystick option instead of the finger behind the car. When the game starts (the actual mission) it says touch the screen. I touch the joystick, but I have to double tap the stick to get moving. Can get frustrating. Other than that the game is A-OK! Perfect graphics, gameplay, and cars! ACTION!Show lessjes_bot
Occupied for hours
I have had a lot of fun with this game. It is challenging but didn't ever frustrate me. The super cop thing is pretty pointless as I managed to play through the whole game without once using it.
This is one of my favourite games on iPad and the only problem I have is that there just aren't enough levels or cars. The game can be completed in an hour... I need more and I don't think I'm the only person asking for it.
This game is a must buy and would have spent more money on it, as it is a steal!Show lessBinky Bun

Eye Candy Makes Up For Lack Of Variety In Game Mechanics
This is a great game until you get a little bored or repetitive missions. That being said it still is a great casual pick-me-up and put-me-down game when you have a few moments to spare and wanna chill with a game... I do find that the control method tends to lead to a dry fingertip which eventually gets a bit of a friction-burn thing happening with the constant screen dragging...
The overall quality still makes it a worthwhile purchase...
Don't be tempted to purchase the in-app unlocks - really the unlocks are not too hard to achieve yourself and will give you incentive to keep with it!
And what's with people even bringing up the prices of these games - they are so affordable - c'mon $4.19 for a game of this quality - there's not much else you can buy these days that provides as much entertainment!Show lessHeath & Heather
The perfect platform for expansion packs
This game is very fun to play. There are two different control schemes - one of which is a virtual joystick. This will appeal to console gamers.
I hope that they release expansion packs - perhaps up to another 80 missions, more cars, and maybe even an open world mode. I would definitely be willing to pay $5 for every twenty levels added.
Finally, I hope they iCloud the save game file. I want my stars and my DLC to be available on all of my devices, so as to afford a seamless experience.Show lessajay.ganapathy
Too difficult.
Interesting, novel control style, but ultimately too hard to master. It's gotta be easy to just pick up and play to keep me interested....but this one ain't.KellR
Great game but needs more levels!
This is a great little game, small for the $2.99 but once there are more levels it will be much better! Please build more levels!! Maybe a police boat or helicopter component? Finished the game in 30 min! Needs more levels!Shronken
It's ok.
Take half a teaspoon of Burnout and mix it with a generous helping of Chase HQ, and you have the essence of Smash Cops.
The map is of a pretty decent size, with plenty of stuff to see but soon becomes familiar after a few laps. The basic chase and smash mechanic is fun along with the A-team style vehicle handling, but it soon becomes obvious it's simply the same three missions over and over. The suicidal cop cars become rather annoying in the later missions, along with some rather dodgy re-spawning of enemies. Also, although the game is competently presented, it tends to be rather bland devoid of any attempt at style or humor. It's no GTA, let's just say that.
Smash Cops is an ok game, certainly fine value for a couple of hours of playtime, but it just simply doesn't live up to the slew of overrated review scores.Show lessPieFacedKilla
$2.99 IS NOT THE LAST OF IT.....THERE IS MORE.
So.....I purchased this game $2.99 thinking mmmm quite pricey for the kinda game it is but oh well let's see.......after playing up to 5 levels I get to the level where you have to drive through the course without hitting a cone! Now this is near, no this IS IMPOSSIBLE it would take a lot of play time to actually be able to do it! And THE ONLY way to go any further is to........wait for it....PURCHASE THE ABILITY TO GO FURTHER....?????????? Are you serious?...I just paid $2.99 for this game! In the description it does NOT say this. to anyone reading this, this is QUITE AN EXPENSIVE GAME because I doubt thats the last dollar this greedy developer would charge.Show lessBennedy
