It has everything that I need to paint portreats,
Landscape, cartoons, I have been painting with canvas and real painting, after this program, I don't feel like going back, I still love it, but this is better than any other program,

Use with caution for IOS 8
I just "updated" last week. I still can't get the app to update to the full version.
It's not available on the app (says it can't connect to the App Store) and I can't access it in the App Store ???????Q
Please advise.
The purchased version stopped working for me 2 weeks after I bot it. It also disappeared off my purchases

Hello oil painter . Review from an artist having 15 of these apps.
This oil paint imaging is very close to the feel of oil but not right on.
This app offers a pleasant time at it. Mixing and blending are ok but could be better. I enjoy it at times for long periods of time.
I boar easily so that says something for it. There are way to many graphics around the frame. It would be nice to hide all of it at once.Show lessSlim seven

I haven't gotten to learn much about this app. But I have never deleted it so it must have potential!azsundance
The smudger burns.
When you try to blend colors on the picture, versus on my virtual pallet which is very cute, it starts darkening very quickly. This is a classic problem with smudger's. There are much better painting programs on app world. Including Line Brush which has good oil paint-like blending. And is free.poniesinjudah

Great side app
This app combined with other makes it a very useful tool. By its self it lacks the ability to be more than a child's app, however with the unique brushes, and the paid version you get many more colors and get to blend and dry your paint. I like as it fixes the layer. Then exporting it to a more detailed app, makes for some great illusions, i have had to only use the two apps together, this one and Ipastels...also the paid version. Great tools for the painter that likes to see their work develop but hates mistakes.Show lesstnraven
Smaller brushes please!
The app is good, but it needs more variety of colours as it's not easy to mix colours together to create a different one, I.e, mixing red and blue together doesn't result in purple..... It needs more neutral colours as well. Smaller brushes would be good too as it's quite difficult to detail the paintings properly as the brush strokes are too thick.Show lesslukethauer-hotmail
