Don’t bother!
This is the worst app I’ve ever used. You have to be quick or the App Store continually pops up over and over and over again. You can listen to the same podcasts on the Podcast One app without enduring this hell - or the commercials — but it isn’t updated as often. Get it together guys!DowntownPatti
App Store pop ups
More often than not, the App Store will pop open while I am trying to open a podcast. It is extremely frustrating. I will double click the home button to get back to the My Talk app but it immediately opens the App Store again. After I do this 10 times in a row, I just have to close the app and walk away. Needs improvements!
I love being able to listen live or to previously recorded shows, but there are a few things that could be improved!
1) I will frequently be redirected back to the App Store while trying to select a podcast to listen to. Very frustrating and often I just end up leaving the app.
2) Before an update a while ago, you could listen to one podcast (I.e. 'Hour 1') and it would turn off. I loved that feature, but now it just keeps going and going. I like to listen to this before I go to bed but it plays all night if I fall asleep.Show lessCj2118
THIS APP IS A DATA HOG!!!!
Yesterday I opened the app and listened to the Shop Girls (whom I love) on audio on demand. The app was streaming video commercials the whole time I listened, which was 1.5 hours. It cost me 12GB in data!!!! I had no idea this was happening as I did not hear the commercials. I have completely run out of data and I am only 2 days into my usage period. I am disabling this APP immediately, and you should too. I don't want this to happen to you too!!! :(Show lessTotally Beast
Stops Working Frequently
I love MyTalk and don't have a radio everywhere I go so I've enjoyed having the app. Over the last year it just stops working and I have to close and reopen it frequently. I miss a lot of the content and only hear partial conversations. It doesn't seem to be related to wifi network issues because it happens everywhere and even when not using on wifi. I hope there's a fix because this station is the best!Show lessJessCVT
Not working-new update 7-22
Talked to mytalk1071 via Twitter. The developers say it's a "connection issue" need to try wifi at work ca wifi at home and fully close out the app

Just downloaded the app and it won't load saying I have no wifi signal. Even though at home my phone runs only in wifi. (Sigh) back to radio I guess

App doesn't work
The majority of the time the app will not open. When you can get in and listen to any on demand segments, if you finish them you cannot listen to them again by pressing play. Must use reverse button and drag back. Not user friendly like prior app.Fruit nija expert

Want to hear my shows!
I don't live in the metro so am dependent on the live stream. I have had to delete and reload the app MULTIPLE times in the past months trying to get it to work. Seems to freeze up, usually during or right after the initial ads. Please improve this, can't live without my "chick radio"!Greater mn
Working again
I had the same problem as other reviewers; the podcasts suddenly stopped playing when I had previously had no problem playing them. I emailed the station and was able to get it back up and running after I made sure my iPhone software was up to date.
I'm so happy to have it working again, my only gripe is that I wish the podcasts were longer! It seems weird that 1 hour of a show equates to only 20 minutes of a podcast.Show lessKitsl010
