  • Easy and effective!

I coach 10 and 11 year olds in a 6 on 6 i9 league. This was a super easy app to figure out how to use and then created a playbook for me and wrist references for the kids.

    Well worth it!
  • Disappointed

Too expensive and too difficult to edit playbooks for versatility. You can’t use your own plays and add a player.
  • This worked great

First year coaching my sons team and we ended up getting 2nd place in the league.
  • Best investment

This app is most definitely worth buying. I coach a youth flag football team and the app provides an easy and reliable way to draw up plays for the kids. As a coach it has made my job easier when it comes to flipping through plays while in the huddle. I no longer have a bunch of papers that I have to flip through and waste time searching for what play I want. It is easy for the kids to follow and understand with the use of different colors. There are a few things that can be fixed, but overall this app has definitely transformed the game for myself and my team!

  • Excellent play design app

I use this for 5v5 flag for an 8U team. Love the easy to use play editor and the ability to change shapes, i.e. the kid getting the ball is the star shape on the play. The export to pdf feature is so key and allows up to 9 plays on one page for in game play calling. I haven’t used the print to wristband yet but I’m sure that’s great as well. One of my only criticisms is that when you go to edit a route you have to click the circle representing the player- however it’s near impossible to do this without moving the circle. Sort if a minor complaint but I end up routinely relocating my dots. Overall though an awesome app with great support.

Thanks coach. Happy to hear that you like the app! Good use of the 9 play playbook as a call sheet. We see coaches pairing those with wristbands to good effect. Thanks for the feedback on selecting a position icon.
  • Great app, worth the money.

I use the app for 5v5 flag football. It is easy to use and draw up plays within minutes. I will see something during a game on tv, and create a play similar for our team. Although, I have a couple of recommendations. I began using this at the beginning of the season. I am not sure if I am navigating properly, so please assist if I am not.

    1. When in the view mode of the play, it would be nice to swipe through the plays right or left.

    2. When in the Playbook mode, it would be nice to color coordinate the plays. This would help while scrolling quickly to identify specific plays (ie. goal line, long yardage, trick plays).

    3. Also, when in Playbook mode, it would be nice to not be able to edit the plays by removing the “i”. Sometimes when scrolling through, I like to go fast however I accidentally hit the “i” and have to cancel out of it. Maybe place the “i” in the play on the top taskbar, once it is opened? There are two buttons which move you back to the playbook, maybe one can be replaced by the “i”.

The app is great and thanks for putting it together. It’s well worth the one time fee of $15.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. It was good to hear what you like and what you think can be better. Thanks for emailing me, too. It was good to learn more about what you're looking for in future versions/apps.
  • Not worth your time

This app is buggy, doesn’t share the full playbook, and doesn’t even show me the correct number of plays for my teammates. You’re better off drawing them yourself
  • Bigger Field Or Smaller Player Icons

The overall workings and idea of the app are great, but field is too small to show any advanced plays/play art. Need to either be able to turn your phone sideways for a larger field and or be able to make the player icons smaller to have more room for play design.
  • Best app for your kids!

This app has been the most efficient way for us to show our kids the plays in the huddle. We have built an entire playbook out for ever game. We take the iPad to the huddle to show the play. No more plays on paper!!!

Thanks, coach! It was good to chat with you about the advantages of using the iPad on-field. Hope you have another great season.
  • Great app, but i don’t like the price for unlimited plays.

This is an awesome app, but the price is too high. I don’t like that we have to play 15 LITERAL BUCKS just for unlimited
FRICKIN’ plays. Please just let us have unlimited plays no matter what dude!
