I just downloaded this app and there's sound but nothing to see, the screen is black. Help!

I downloaded this app for my grandaughter who is 22 months old & she loves it! She understands quite well, sometimes it goes too fast for her & her interest span isn`t that long. In just a few days she can identify the different animals.
