Just updated and sound no longer works. Boomer!! My little one really liked this one. I'm giving 1 star because it's unplayable. :-(.

Very disappointed because the sound doesn't work.
Best sight words app, but why a gun?
While the graphics are not as clean and appealing as others, I like how you interact more with the sight words than in some other apps. I don't want to sound like a prude, here. But why have the kids shooting a gun at the word? Seems more violent than necessary. I like my shoot 'em up games as much as the next person... But not for my PreK children. I would have given five stars if that were more kids friendly.

Great Educational Tool!
As a grade 5 teacher I bought this ap for a particular student of mine who is at a D benchmark. Instantly his eyes lit up as he started to play this. He started to tackle words that normally he wouldn't even be willing to try to read. I had first installed the free ap and then quickly upgraded when I realized how incredible this ap was. Desperately would love to see some higher level reading apps from this maker!!

This is a great game that I use to help my little sister who is 5 and finds it really great to use! Now she knows more than 50 small words like bat, hat, and, mum, dad and even bigger ones like longer and grow. She is the only one in her class who can now read and they all thank me! And this device of course

Cute but could be better
vs the free play sight words app, this app is more fun. it could be better though. The word shooting game should display two or more words that start with the same letters ie apple and appear to make it much more challenging. Also during word review it would be helpful to offer a sentence with the word used in context.

Wish it worked
Love the games but we aren't getting the most out of it because the sound isn't working. Would love to upgrade but I want this to work first!
