Great game, shame about the hacks/ hackers

The Mills game, itself is a fantastic game and this is by far the best computerised version of it. I play it quite often and I always learn a bit more. My main concern is about disrespectful players who hack the game to extract victory in a game they would be, clearly, losing. Sometimes the game freezes and I cannot move and my timer expires and sometimes it is a full crash out of the game. I do not accept the game makers' explanation that maybe the game is just cashing, when it only crashes when I am just about to win and when the coward other player always gets the victory score. The game makers should implement a memory buffer to always store the games played for a short period of time and introduce a " CHEAT REPORT" button for a cheat incident to be reported and then investigated from the stored game, and the cheating player to have the account cancelled. For me that would make it a 5 star game

Terrible AI

The “very hard” offline opponent wasn’t even able to beat a beginner AI from a different program.

App Freezes During Games

500+ games played... Game won’t let me move movable pieces during online games, no reason and randomly. I’ve played this game plenty to know what you can/can’t do. Can move other pieces but always seems to be the piece you’d strategically need to move that gets “locked”. Has cost me numerous games because I either run out of time or I’m forced to move another piece that shouldn’t have been moved. Find another app.

Freezes and times out

Most of the time when playing against an online appointment, the app freezes on my turn and times out so the game is lost by default.

Version 2.6.36 completely ruined this game

I have been playing this game for quite a while now. I’ve put up with all the ads and all the countless disconnections resulting in a loss because I really enjoy this board game. However, the most recent update to the game, where the developers have implemented automatic ties, has completely ruined the game. My first game after the new update resulted in an automatic tie - no big deal. Several more games into the new update and I was 1 move away from blocking my opponent and winning when it said “Tie. Same move was repeated three times.” The opponent was dragging out the game as long as possible and made the same move back and forth while I was moving one of my pieces around to block and end the game. I was 1 space/move away from doing so when it automatically ended the game in a tie because my opponent’s last move right before I could move to block registered as a third repeated move under the new update, thus ending the game prematurely in a tie. Horrible.

Developers, please look into your new update and consider tweaking the auto tie rules. I’m sure if you check the game data, you’re going to be finding a lot more ties, many of which would likely have ended in a win/loss within a few more moves.

If this doesn’t get addressed, this game is definitely now is 1-star

Hi Miniclip fan! Thanks for your feedback. We will look into it and see what we can do, especially in the case of forcing a draw when loosing the game.

So much disconnections

After every second game i am seeing a popup. Disconnected and lost. Not properly created game. It is fun loosing but annoying when you lose your game with disconnecting.

Learn from miniclip 8 ball pool. You should hold the time even if there is really any disconnection.

THIS TOTALLY MAKES A WAIST OF TIME

Hi Farooqi! Thanks for your feedback. The connection issues should be fixed now. There has been a problem with our multiplayer service. Sorry for the inconvenience.

...

As long this game moves with logic, it is fun, but, when the opponent is reduced to 3 circular things, it is no more a logic game, but the losing side is playing like...you know...it is like “I want to win the game, because I got only three circular things...so I want win be it by logic or not”- so from that point, this become anti-logic board game, hence time is wasted from that point on. Thank you.

Deceptively simple but fun

More strategic options than it first appears

A delightful game, beautifully presented!

I played this game as I was growing up in Europe and now at 93 years of age I still love to play against this wonderful computer program. Try it, you may become addicted as I am.
