Description of AHRS Utility

AHRS utility is a free application designed to configure Levil devices before flight and to display Levil's AHRS data graphically and numerically. This application is only compatible with the Attitude and Heading Reference System from Levil Technology, model AHRS G mini, iLevil series and BOM series. Users must be connected to the wireless network of the Levil AHRS. The application will NOT display airplane attitude based on the internal gyros of your iPad/iPhone or GPS data. AIR DATA: Air data is only available on the AW model or BOM. If you have an iLevil SW, Air data will be derived from the internal GPS on the iLevil. Engine: You must have a compatible engine information system connected to the iLevil to display this information. This application is not meant to be used as a Primary Flight Display or for IFR flight.

Reviews of AHRS Utility

  • Needs updating

Won’t multi-task/do split screen with modern applications on an iPad. I use the company’s hardware for ADSB-in and the device also connects to the pitot static system for airspeed and altitude (not just GPS speed and altitude). Unfortunately, AHRS is a pretty basic application and none of the other tools (ForeFlight, etc.) will show the non-GPS derived values for air speed or altitude... hence a split screen would be great to see synthetic vision in ForeFlight and real airspeed and altitude in AHRS.

Overall the AHRS does what it claims, just old school.
  • Whaa?

I think ya need to update it for ios 8.4.1 it just does nothing no inputs work and the background is all black.
  • Crash and Burn

Since update, won't open, with a pop up "OIL T setting ..." flashing on the screen, preventing its use. Sad. Worked before.
