  • Good free app don't pay

It's a great little app, however there is no instruction in relation to differences between male and female. The paid version I'm afraid to say is just not worth it as it makes it look like you get a lot more content and you don't. For example in the free version you get numbers 1 2 3 and in the paid version you get errr 1 2 3. Appears a fair bit of repetition from the free app. In the sentence builder there is about 3 things. Content is way too little for price paid.

  • User friendly

I'm taking a trip to Thailand next year and wanted to learn at least some of the basics to get me by while I'm there. This app is working wonderfully. User friendly and definitely makes it easy to pick up on the language. I will be buying the upgraded version!
  • Excellent way to learn

Finding this app is the best one I've come across. Is very good how it has so many options . It's great how it gives you words and you can have time to think the answer. I love it.
  • ...but be WARNED!

I paid the full version and later I reinstalled this app. I thought everything was good because it has 'Restore Purchase' ...but NOT true because it does NOT let me. ...it then reads, 'Cannot do from in-App purchase'. I must pay again! Why?
  • An intuitive way to learn Thai!

This app is so easy to use, and it is set up in a very thoughtful way. The progression of words that enter into the selection helps you learn because they are relative to one another. The words are entered into the selection in a slow progression as well, so you have plenty of time to learn the previous words. I use this app on the go. I listen for the Thai word and I try to guess its English meaning, and vice versa I will see the English word then try to figure out the Thai word, then I check it by clicking the answer button. I am learning pretty fast with the app!

    Kawp koon mak krap!

I've been trying to lean Thai on & off for a few yrs but work makes it very difficult to remain consistent. I have looked at other Thai language apps before. One app I would recommend to compliment this is Learn Thai. This app though is brilliant. You can choose to learn a set amount of words per day, you choose how many. You control the playback speed (slower to make listening & repeating easier). The free app has dozens of words & phrases to learn. If you wanted to have full access, then it's £10. I am going to pay for that, because I absolutely know it'll be worth it. The only bad point I have seen, which I hope the developers will amend is this; unlike the Learn Thai app, you can not switch the speech between male & female. For 99% of the time, this doesn't matter as long as you are aware of the use of one or two words such as 'chan/pom ( I ) (female/male tone respectively) that would differentiate between male & female. Otherwise, this is one of the best I have seen. Read & listen, read back, repeat.

  • Handy and works great!

The app works in a very predictable easy to use way.
I like to travel and make friendly conversation with locals, so I have downloaded several languages in full.
  • Wow!

This is such a high quality app for learning Thai. Thank you so much. Can't wait to check out the other languages.
  • Very Impressed

I'm just starting a Thai language learning course. This involves one to one tuition with a Thai teacher. Whilst I'm under no illusion that you could learn fluent Thai from an app this is an excellent addition. I can practice virtually anytime, anywhere. It would also be useful for holiday makers in Thailand.
