Doesn’t work

6 of us downloaded this to pay for our lift passes. It would not allow us to pay!
Even the website had similar issues.
The lifties in Vallandry were super helpful but could ultimately do nothing as we couldn’t pay.

If you’re going to have an online system and App it must be able to take payment!

Doesn’t track my skiing

It’s all set up properly but tried and tried to get the app to sync but it won’t. It says it has unsaved sessions but when I type to synchronise nothing is happening. My husband’s is working fine with a similar phone and doing the same skiing, with the exact same settings and liked to a Google account 🤷🏻‍♀️. I’ve now given up.

Some features of the app, such as tracking, require being logged into a user account. I recommend creating an account and logging into the app if you haven't already done so. Good in principle

I have used the YUGE app for many years and to be honest I preferred previous versions. Please can you sort the tracking out as it loses you through your ski runs. I’ve just skied 100 minutes and it’s only tracked me for 22 mins. Seems to lose you near Grizzly and Valandry lifts and doesn’t pick you up again.

Tracking

The latest update seems to have broken the entire tracking system. It doesn’t record me being on the mountain after i skiied for 5+ hours

Great Idea - Still Terrible

Another year, still not working. All changed since original review but first day of skiing and can’t add pass to it. What is the point in this pass when there are so many good alternatives that have features you want that work?

Used last year and gave the benefit of the doubt as a new app. Is a great idea but so unreliable it just disappoints. All badges from previous year lost - if this is expected and you are expected to restart each year that's fine - how then are you supposed to get the first timer's badge again? For example, 7am lifts not open yet and 5 people have already recorded 1/2 a day's worth of skiing. App has recorded that I've been to the Aguille Rouge summit and skied down. It no badge for getting to the summit. Spent 1 1/2 hours night skiing but no night owl badge. What's the point in trying to have a bit of fun chasing these down and "competing" with friends/other users when it's so unreliable?

Good in principle

A good app in principle but problems in using it. It was working well for first part of week and got photos from on the piste then whole app stopped working. Deleted it then reinstalled but then it wouldn’t recognise by ski pass- said it wasn’t valid when it definitely was as was using it for skiing and so couldn’t download photos from piste which was annoying as would have taken my own if had known!

App doesn’t work

When it first came out I used the Yuge App to discover the fun run above Mont Albert where animal noises are triggered as you ski past various statues of woodland and mythical creatures.

Sadly this App appears to have run its course.

The support link is broken.
The App points back to Paradiski (Parodyski perhaps?).
Quite plainly the developers are not being paid or they need to be changed.
I cannot login using any method.
Recovery does not work.
Deleting and re-installing does not work.

In the words of Monty Python:
This is an ex-App, it has deceased it is now pushing up the daisys, it is no more.
Some support would be appreciated. And perhaps a re-think of corporate responsibilities at the App company. Perhaps they are on strike?

Hello, The new Paradiski Yuge application is available on the Apple and Google stores since Saturday, December 10. If you had the old version, a simple update is necessary with password reset. Otherwise, you have to download the new application for installation and account creation. We hope it will works and if not, please contact us again, specifying your OS (IOS or Android), your cell phone model and resort (Les Arcs / Peisey-Valladnry or La Plagne). We wish you a nice day.

So buggy

This app is literally so buggy it makes tracking so difficult and a waste of time. There is lots of functionality in the app and the ability to have a leaderboard with friends is fun, however there is no description for where the mysterious points come from, and the actual tracking is so buggy it’s almost completely pointless. The tracking often just pauses and doesn’t restart, with the app crashing when you try to restart it, and it just skips out hours of skiing. You might ski for 2 hours and it only tracks 15mins of that. It needs a LOT of improvements.

Does not record properly the trails you take

I went twice to the glacier, twice with the app on. As soon as I started recording the video, the app stopped recording my trail (twice!). There are times it just stops recording your activity. I will give it a go a second time/chance tomorrow. But for the time being, I do not recommend it.

Where is the map

A simple need, having a map is transformed into a painful customer Hornet with the need to create an account and share unnecessary data.
