No crashes for me, worked fine all the way through to the end (I was playing on iPad 1 with fully updated iOS).
As to the game itself, it works really well on iPad. The puzzles have been simplified from the PSone and PC versions, which is good for somebody like me who is new to the point and click (or point and tap) genre, but players of those original versions might be disappointed with the scaling back of the puzzles. Also the cut-scene recapping the end of the first game is missing, but really, it isn't needed since the first game is also now available on iPad.
Other than that, the game is intact, and unlike 'Dracula Resurrection' and 'Dracula - Path of the Dragon' which have been split into three parts each on iPad, this second entry in the Dracula series has been left as one entire game, and it's all the better for it.
Overall, playing this on iPad has been a good experience. If any more older games like this are released on iPad, then I'd love to see 'NECRONOMICON - THE DAWNING OF DARKNESS' get a new lease of life and given the same treatment as 'Dracula - The Last Sanctuary' for iPad. Go on, make it happen!
