Intuitive and professional

I found this app as an amateur while looking for a DJ app that would give me some basic functions for seamless song transitions for use in a party. It works excellent with the library of tracks that you OWN or have RIPPED to your iTunes library; it smartly does not give you access to tracks downloaded through Apple Music, considering you didn’t actually pay for those tracks, just an on demand radio service. I can’t blame them for this function, buyers should understand this limitation. Before I had Apple Music and was adding tracks to my library just through the iTunes Store and via CDs, I could play everything on my device; once playlists started getting added via Apple Music, there was a lot of incomplete playlists. Definitely worth the value as the Left/Right channel Mono/Preview function is really great for timing on the fly.

Useless and a rip off

Downloaded this app for free week trial only to find it wouldn’t allow me to use any music in the iTunes library , I then cancelled the subscription and deleted the app and tonight get an email saying I’ve been charged for a weeks subscription. Went to apple to request a refund and got denied with no reason.

This game/app is awesome, however

I wrote a review for this game a while back and a bunch of stuff has changed. 2 things for the people that made this. 1. You put copyright restrictions on 95% of my songs. I can’t mix anything together, get rid of that. 2. Get rid of the free trial crap. I at least want one of each loop pack and the rest can be trial stuff, but really? I understand you need a way to make money but you restrict almost all of my 236 purchased songs and I can’t get loops because I need a subscription. Pls fix these. Other than that, this game is fricken AWESOME.

Terrible

This app is absolutely ridiculous you say it’s free but really gust a wast of money. You are destroying people’s dreams that what to be a rock star by macking them pay a out of controllable amount of money I’m disappointed ☹️ and I’m sure other people feel this way and the fact that I have to at lest give you one star is a joke. I would like to see this cost reduced to nothing as I feel like it has so much patencell and could become one ☝️ of the best music makers ever

Hi! You don't have to pay if you don't want to! You can still use the free restricted version of the app. The new subscription offered in edjing Mix is totally optional but allows you to have access to all the app’s premium features. :) Alice

I like the app but nope on subscription

I absolutely hate the new sales model, subscription based isn’t for me. I’ll gladly pay once for ownership. Plus, you’re asking 40 dollars a year, there aren’t any audio production apps aside from this and djay that are asking such a ridiculous price.
A full daw like Cubasis is like 30 bucks NO subscription.
I like the app, works well, but get off your high horse, I don’t see any justification for a 40 dollar sub, there are apps ranging from free to 20 bucks that do a lot more than yours.
Hope your sub based model works out for you, but based on what I see, people don’t seem to like it, whether desktop, iOS, or whatever.
Too bad you can’t ask a fair price, or you’d have some money from people like me instead of none lol.

What happened to the good old days

I want to go back in time when apps that had a free version would only be a limited version of the full thing but now these apps have to ruin the experience of using a phone by making free trials and monthly charges. THIS IS DISAPPOINTING ON SO MANY LEVELS,

The app looked really good and I give it to the developers for making a very intriguing application but because of the trial and having to pay the experience was ruined before it was even started.

I just want to see an app where we can download it, play with maybe a few functions limited off but pay like 2.99 to get the full thing.

Really cool, but I have one request

This app is very cool! But I wish it had a feature that would allow me to add audio from my video library, because I don’t use Apple Music. Other than that this app is great!

Hello! Thank you for your suggestion, it's a good idea :). Regards, Alice.

Rip off

I thought it was free now my mom and dad are going to get angry since they had to pay for it, because for some reason it has a weekly subscription payment. Don’t get this app if you don’t want to pay.

Hi! Please follow this link to modify or cancel your subscription: https://support.apple.com/HT202039. Please note that you can still use the free restricted version of the app, without any subscription. Regards, Alice

Shady practices

This app is designed to do ONE thing efficiently, and one thing only. And that is to get at your money. The ‘free trial’ becomes a recurring charge that’s extremely hard to cancel. Virtually EVERY button or function directs you into buying in app purchases. Right from the start you are steamrollered into committing yourself to a recurring fee. To cap all these shady practices the actual app is absolutely useless, it’s a toy, nothing more. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of ANY app bearing the edging brand. You’ll end up regretting it.

Response to the inevitable copy pasted ‘developers response’

Yes you do have to pay. You now cannot use the app without entering payment details or use of your apple registered details, you say we can cancel but that’s afterwards and you make it very difficult. I ‘BOUGHT’ this app originally and your update disabled the FX I had paid for, I was told to ‘buy’ it again to regain access and assured I would not actually be charged, that was a lie. I WAS charged, THREE times in fact. And now yet another ‘update’ has altered everything again reverting me to the quite useless free version. Don’t tell me I don’t have to pay all over again as your track record of honesty stinks.
Forcing people into paying almost £7 a WEEK is extortionate. Do the sums, that’s THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THREE POUNDS annually, for a toy. You people are no better than scammers.

Hi! You don't have to pay if you don't want to. Indeed, you can use the free restricted version of the app by clicking on "or go with limited version" at the launching of the app. Regards, Alice
