POLAND'S economy! Polish/Irish PERFECT!
Poland seems to finally have some peace, and in a few short years has shown itself to be an economic rock star!
Many do not know that 7 Million ethnic-Catholic Poles were killed during WWII... Also, look into The Irish Potato Famine...
Ok, ok, about this great app!:) I've had no problems with it - awesome!
Analogous with soaring economies, like Poland's, comes soaring needs to speak the Polish language - Poland has quickly become a top economic power; 1 of the cleanest countries Ive ever been too.
Recently visiting Poland, I was very moved by the sincere warmth and just feeling so welcomed and accommodated by the Poles.
Czesc! Pronounced 'cheshch,' is an informal greeting the Poles use to say hello/bye. Czesc literally mean 'honor.'
The Irish would say Dia Dhuit, good day, pronounced: jee uh gwit (depending on county).
When you say your "Irish," in Poland, big happy smiles come across these Ford Model looking Polish faces:)
You must remember, as the Poles truly have and are continually rgrateful when they came to Ireland for work and were also welcomed warmly there through Ireland's Celtic tiger years: Ireland is on an upswing now again...
Poland is now reciprocating with all it's heart! Irish-Gaelic is even taught in Poland, along with Irish soccer clubs and agencies that help Irish find work. Also, some of the best Irish Pubs will be found in Poland, especially Krakow. Ireland/Poland helping each other... Gaelic/Polish: 2 languages worth learning: this APP helps a lot, but needs a phonetic Irish-Gaelic component - sorry, had to promote it:)! Slainte!
Again, I was so very pleased to see many Irish in Poland, especially Warsaw, Krakow and Zakopane - some 80,000 Irish working, happy and many a married to Poles!; I also found Irish & Poles to be a very similar looking people.
Ok, back to the app:
The Irish stressed how a few key Polish words and phrases go a long way in Poland. Poles will not judge your language abilities, but will so appreciate any effort and will help you; Poland has now become a basically English speaking country. You'll still need this app, no matter which country you'll visit.
I can speak a good bit of Gaelic and had fun exchanging and analogizing some gaelic phrases for Polish phrases:) Phonetics help greatly...
Again, if possible phonetic Irish-Gaelic to this app would be good... ok, ok I had to plug:))
Finally the pronunciation option is priceless, and can be used to anyone in any language you are trying to communicate in...
Dziekuje: pronounced Jane koo yeh - Thank you in Polish
Go Raibh Maith Agat: pronounced Goo rev maha goot - thank you in Irish.

100% connection failure
Every attempt in most languages I tried ended with 'message' connection failure. Even with Wifi and full 4G. Gave it several attempts but had to delete!
