This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. ・iPlacard 3.0.0 can be used with iOS 8.0 or later (confirmed on iOS 11.3). ・Screen flicker is suppressed. ・Now you can save the specifications of color and display method for each phrase. ・Several kinds of fonts can be specified. ・It is possible to specify that display is automatically started by device turning. ・The display method of waving the screen has been abolished.

Description of iPlacard

iPlacard displays a short phrase using large letters on the screen. You can send a message to people who are at a relatively short distance. In a situation that you can't speak or make a noise, iPlacard will be useful. You can save several favorite phrases. In auto mode, a phrase is displayed as in an illuminated news display. In fix mode and 2 lines fix mode, large still letters are displayed, and additionally, you can make the screen blink. To start / stop the display, touch the button on the screen. You can also start / stop display by rotating (turning over) the device.

Simple and easy
This is a simple app to use if you want to use your iPhone as a sign for example when you're picking up someone at the airport. Suggestion: to make the sign cleaner, remove the pause button or at least make it subtle.

I use iPlacard to tell the band the next number to be played. I make up play lists in advance. I would like to be able to make several independent playlists. I also would like the ability to clear a list with one command. I use the iPhone version more than the iPad version because I only have to display a 3 digit number. I would love to discuss specs with the developer.
