One of my favorites
I can easily recommend this tower defense game. It has some fun elements and is very polished. There are many tower defense games on offer and I consider this as one of the better ones if not the best.
Oh and on my iPad2 it has never crashed.

Plays well, no crashes at all
I love tower defense games and while this has some beautiful graphics in the intro and interstitial screens, the game is fairly generic from a gameplay standpoint. Fun, but didn't really offer any surprises and got a little dull. Not sure what all the reviews on crashes are all about. This game plays perfectly, no crashes, and I have several apps open at the same time.

Loved the last game, this one is even better given the new options
It wasn't a big leap getting used to dropping bombs or specifying perks. I do have to admit that the hidden target part of the game didn't click for me right away. If anything, those features may give this game more replay appeal than the first game.
To be fair to all of the other reviews complaining about crashes, I am playing this on my iPad 2 and have had no crashes after having played through the full campaign and one bonus mission.

True to name
This game is very good and true to the rest of the series.
They added bombs which I could do without, and the ability to dig-in units and aim for distance. The game plays more interactively with additional units attacking your defenses from other directions.
These days we seem pretty hard-up for a good TD game. This is far superior to most out there currently.

One of the best!
This is one of the best tower defense games out there. Gameplay, difficulty, and speed are just right. Graphics and the UI are amazing. You also get maps requiring various combinations. I've been playing it since I got it, trying to achieve "full house" in all levels. Like iBomber Defense HD, this game doesn't disappoint. It doesn't crash in my iPad 2, either. For $2.99, it's a great game!

Crashes
Crashes every time it tries to load, want my money back.
Good idea, but needs more polish.
It's basically a new take on the tower defense idea. Great artwork and gameplay, but there are a lot of holes that need to be filled. Like when a new weapon is introduced, no explanation of what it can do. Also, there are times when you can't complete the secondary mission, so you don't even worry about it. Which makes you care even less about what happens in the missions.
I love tower defense games, but I'll have to wait after a few updates to really enjoy this one.

Bugs galore
Graphics are good but there are many bugs (foot soldiers that you cannot be killed, destroying supply crates requires multiple attack orders etc).
Needs a better upgrade tech tree or more places to place units. I feed like a spectator and not a player.

This app is not related to cobra mobile limited which make iBomber 1 & 2. They stole the name of them in order to fool you into thinking its the next in the series. I want my money back
