App really needs a dark mode. And also more spell checkers. Often times some words - and even organizations - are misspelled. Good otherwise. Also, for some reason the images they upload are often very low quality.
I am updating my review to one star because in addition to the above complaints, DW always asks if I want to enable cookies even after I have checked the box. Every single time I open the app. This is annoying. Also, it repeatedly asks me if I want to show 3rd party info even though I always click “yes, always show 3rd party info”. They really need someone to clean up their app!! Please!!

Dark mode
Every time I open this app it blinds me with the white. Please add a dark mode option. I’ve resorted to only using the app for notifications and using the website in reader mode for everything else.

Great news/lifestyle content.
But, every week I have to shutdown my iPhone to because DW has locked up again. I have a number of news apps, this is only one has consistently locked up on me. The developers seem uninterested in fixing it.
After sending this review I’m going shutdown and then restart my phone so I can use the DW app.

No news possible malware
Neva down loaded this app!
Running in apps always alowed!
Was on the Home Screen. Couldn’t delete it!
As I noticed it a few months ago!
Tried numerous time with IT professionals!
And apple to delete it out of apps always slowed!
And it appears again after deleting it!
And even changes bak to original dw breaking news! After dl newest one and running new apple 17.6 and resetting phone and factory reset!

Breaking news stories from 2022?
The app had been working well since I installed it on my phone a couple of weeks ago. stories posted were current and up to date. This morning top news stories are from 2022 even after a manual refresh, sports stories from pre world cup 2022.
I'm not sure what happened in the data source; doesn't matter. App is removed. ❌

Push notifications not working
Its been several days since installing the app and so far no push notifications have arrived. There are no configuration options for push notifications within the app. In the phone settings the Notifications are enabled for the DW app. Please fix.
Good but Buggy; freezes frequently
Often stops playing video, exacerbated if changing orientation.
Each morning session requires me to close and reopen App perhaps six times.

What's up with DW app.used to be good and reliable Now it freezes and gives me old news that I have to delete it and install it again. But that only works for a little while. Very annoying Please help
Crash-prone
I am installing this the fourth time, keep getting a blank screen after a few uses.
