Breaking news not updated frequently. Old articles are time stamped with new times every day.
Basic and primitive
Essential information is here but very unpolished. The font is fuzzy and the constantly moving ads at the bottom of the page are annoying and interfere with viewing.

Breaking news is always old...better off following their reporters on Twitter for more up to the minute local news.

Horrible! Nothing is ever up to date. Usually takes two days for "breaking news" to even be posted. Very disappointing.

The online KSBW is far superior, as far as news goes, I however grew up reading the Sentinel and enjoy the different sections; today Im reading in Lifestyle Section- 32 day old articles? Recommend skipping this app!!!!

This app is horrible. Breaking news that's 12 hours old? Really?! Something that is ON the Internet should be as current as the internet. Very disappointing, very slow, no new news, feels old and stale.

Just use their web site. The app only loads the articles about 1% of the time. The rest of the time it errors out.
Love the "spreed" feature
As a Santa Cruz resident I am really happy I found this app. One of my favorite parts is there "spreed" feature which visually powers you through stories at some specified WPM rate. I am now reading way more stories than before since I can absorb them so much more quickly that way. Overall this is a great local news app for Santa Cruz county.
