Used to be awesome
One of the updates wrecked it, and now it doesn’t score the non-bidding team’s tricks.
Bad app
Non intuitive , doesn’t follow protocol. Horrible layout and lacks logic. Worst app ever .
Needs update to encompass all rules
Mate, you need to update to allow six bids and for misere

Works well. Though you cant bet 6 tricks. Only option is for 7 or above.

This could be a great app, needs the following changes:
- bidding starts at 6
-allow misere
-option for 3 player 500
-include a bidding chart for reference

Great idea & helpful, but . . .
This app is a great idea and very helpful when playing 500, but it can use some touch ups.
The major improvement I would like to see is the addition of 6 bids. The version of the game I play allows for 6 bids, but the scorer in its current version is unusable for us. Adding the option in the scorer for 6 bids would not hinder those who don't play with 6 bids but it would make it versatile for those of us who do.
Also, the look could be upgraded a bit to be made more rich and inviting (maybe give it a card table motif?), and some extras should be added, like rules of play, trump suit ranking, and other tips.
The suggestions offered in the other reviews here are also good, keeping track of the dealer is a good one, add the "score chart" to see bid values and the error checking are very good ideas. The extra 50 points for taking all 10 tricks is not a good idea, however, since the app already awards -- correctly -- 250 points if all 10 tricks are taken on a bid that is valued at less than 250. There is no additional reward for taking 10 tricks allowed in the rules.

380 scorer (since you can't make the lower bids)
Great idea, Great price! BAD app!! No Missere (or open) - although this might be how some players would prefer it :). And bidding should start at 6 - although at 120 points max for 6 no trumps, a bid of 6 might hardly be worth it.
Can't wait for the updated 1.2 that fixes these bugs (although I suppose it might not be free next time)

No option to score 6?!
Ummm, bidding in 500 starts at 6 not 7. And what about if everyone passes? No option for that either.
USELESS - Don't waste your time.
Cant make any 6 bids as it only starts at 7's. No options for scoring Misère or Open Misère.
If you want to play without being able to score, this app is for you!
Look 4d 2 upgrade
I was very excited to find this app but very disappointed when I tried 2 use it. If it allowed a 6 bid and different numbers of teams/players it would be awesome-i really liked the layout and ease of use. Have deleted app n the meantime as can't use how it is-I look 4d 2 an updated version!

I quite like this program, very easy to use. However I would love a version of the app that you don't score points for the defensive team (eg, 20 points, 30 points etc). So the team who has made the bid is the only team that scores and loses points.

Good, but...
We sometimes play 3, 5 and 6 handed. Need option to add or remove players. And maybe we play differently, but the minimum no. Of tricks we call is 6 not 7, could this be added to future versions? Thanks, it would be used all the time in our household if these things were added!

But what I'd really like to see is the score table. I would like to know what 8 Hearts or 9 Spades is worth at bidding time.

Great app
I love the game 500. However it would be nice to have some options. Like I play if you make all 10 books then you get an extra 50 points. It would be sweet if you added that.

In a future update could you please add a 6 trick option as well as a mazzuri option (where you try to lose every trick)

I play 500 all the time, and this is a great way to keep score. It is easy to use and has a nice looking screen. I love using it and showing it off to my fellow players at the senior center!

Very useful for 500 fans
It's always a hassle trying to add up and keep track of scores when playing 500, and this app solves that problem. It's very easy to use, and information is displayed clearly. The "swipe to clear" is a bit unresponsive, and for some the ads at the top may be a bit intrusive, but all in all it is a very useful app, and an essential download for any 500 lover.
