  • More please?

The game is amazing and well-made, addicting and very educational at the same time. Perfect for remembering and learning the individual rights. However, the fact that we are only allowed to play for seven days limits the gameplay greatly. Please add more? Many thanks! Amazing game!
  • This is a great game for adults and kids!

This is a very fast paced game that keeps you on your toes! It's a great game and fun way to learn or refresh your memory of our many amendments, personal rights and governing laws. It definitely mixes education with time management skills.(to curb frustration in the beginning, you may want to take notes on each lawyers skills and expertise so you don't waste time or lose clients!) Its a game that you will want to play again & again!

I just wish each "session" would last longer- as soon as you have built up a successful firm and have the hang if it, it abruptly ends- giving you a status report on your knowledge, strengths and weaknesses- cases won/lost, etc- which is neat to see, but then you have to start another one. It would be FAR more enjoyable to be able to have one continuous game, with some 'Sims' like interactions- maybe play against other lawyers/firms...? One defending one prosecuting and add bonuses as you play and win cases, along with game upgrades, etc. I think that would really enhance the playing experience.

But for now, it's really fun & pleasantly addicting. :)

  • Just a game - Very Inaccurate

Take it for what it's worth - entertainment and nothing more. Appears to have been developed by a group of high school Con Law students or freshmen law students. Be careful not to use this as educational tool. It fails on multiple counts. Two that I found almost immediately are 2nd Amendment cases (right to bear arms) & right to privacy - actually protected under 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 14th. Not a bad rough start, but nothing more than entertainment.

  • Bugs fixed, wonderful experience now!

I felt the need to rewrite my review, in the previous version they had a bug with the 2nd amendment that made me think there was an agenda. But, after I wrote them, I got a very quick response. The web version of the game did not share this bug, and they were working on a fix. In less than a week, the update ws out, fixing the issue, and settling it for me - it was a mistake, not an agenda.

So now, the game, the lessons taught, as well as the customer service and communication, well, they all rate an A+ by me.

Thanks for fixing this great teaching game!

  • I'm a 3L

The opinions contained in this review in no way constitute legal advice, or can be considered to form an attorney-client relationship.

So, found this game by accident, and being in my final year of law school, I figured I'd give it a shot. The one bad thing I can say about it: it's too short lol. One of the hallmarks of a great game is that your fans complain there isn't enough content. One play through lasts 30 mins. Now on to the good stuff!

The algorithm for determining the con law problems is spot on! I was very surprised to find a game that actually got the legal issues right. They're not complicated mind you, this is no substitute for picking up a con law book and actually reading the cases lol.

The game's full of puns, which should appeal to any Law or Literary types.

Also, there are a few reviews on here which accuse the game of bias or otherwise getting the wrong trial result. The game's fine, your instincts about the law aren't.

I'd recommend this game to anyone in law school, or who wants to learn a bit more about the rights afforded to you as an American citizen. Also, did I mention it's funny? Omg the puns....

  • Love it but needs more

I love this game and it certainly keeps you on your toes with knowledge of the Constitution. But it ends too soon and it just not as challenging as it could be. I would like to see more levels and perhaps Supreme Court cases. The receiving attorney is too slow. Maybe the option of hiring more administrative staff would be nice. The added levels could be more complex cases involving the same rights. Once you play this game a while its just not as challenging. Overall I like it and its a great game just not too intellectually challenging after a while.

  • 2nd Amendment

Seriously considering deleting this app . . . it's completely biased when it comes to guns. Whenever I assign a client to the specialist in guns (with reasonable cases), I lose. It says, "Client has no right!"

Honestly, I am a gun advocate. I support our second amendment. But our difference is political views is not why I am angry with the creator of the app. Even if the app SUPPORTED gun rights I would hate it . . . because I believe you should share your opinion only when necessary. And in this case, this app is supposed to be educational; unbiased, stating only solid facts . . . and that is exactly what the creator failed to do. A fourteen year old can see this.

  • Excellent App for Business Law Class!

I teach technology, yet found this app worth playing. It helped remind me of the amendments wherein I found myself playing it nonstop for an hour. I plan to recommend this app to the Business Law teacher to use the first two days of class to help her students learn important federal laws for reinforcement purposes. Kudos to the creator!

  • 2nd amendment

This is a great game for teaching children (and adults) about their rights. I have one concern; every 2nd amendment case results in the client not having a right in this area. There are some cases where they clearly have rights! I am concerned that this is political bias. This game needs to present the information as neutrally as possible.

I don't have an iPad so when I went home I checked if I could buy it for my iPod but it's not available for iPods :'(. I REALLY LOVE THIS GAME and I want it for my iPod sooooooo bad so could you pleeeeeease make it for iPods? It would make me sooooooo happy! Also the game really needs to be waaaaaaaay longer. I was pretty dissapointed when I had to start over :(
