Developer has bad email support
This could be a great app, but the support email always comes back with a failed delivery. I guess the developer ghosted the app?
I bought the iRig BlueBoard to use as a page turner but I can’t get it to work with app. Should be an easy fix but ……

The most recent improvement allowed me to transfer all my songs to my new iPad, including all the sticky notes, which I rely on heavily for at-a-glance keyboard changes in performances. All I can say to anyone who hasn’t been happy with the app in the past is to contact the developer directly because the customer service is second to none for responding to suggestions.Show lessWackienne
Excellent, simple, intuitive
Love this app, great for scrolling with my AirTurn pedal on the iPad. The developer is very helpful and will respond to any questions. I lost all of my songs at one point because of my own mistake and he was able to restore it within one day. I am a singer and not a trained musician therefore I cannot speak to the attributes related to chords and tabs. For my purposes as a singer it does a wonderful job.Show lessyforum
Not usable on my iPhone or iPad
Downloaded and paid for the app. Tried using it but it is very difficult to import the songs I need for my band. Followed the online instructions unsuccessfully. Could not import PDFs from other band members.Charlie Brown's Friend

I am using stomp Bluetooth page Turner. It initially worked but stopped working in the middle of my gig. iPad says it’s connected but it won’t turn the page. I need the page turn or this app does not work for mepkfishin

pkfishin - By this point, I assume you have solved this issue or more likely moved on. Sorry that I was not made aware of your issue. The app has not changed with regard to page turning devices. Often the issue is with the devices themselves. Many users use page turn devices (PageFlip, AirTurn, or other) without any issue, but as a connected device, I realize that some odd situations can appear.Amazing tools
This is an amazing tool for anyone with a song repertoire. The more I use it, the more I like its versatility, broad potential and ease of use.

App and Support
I have been using this app now for about 3 years ,I don’t know how I ever got along without it! This app will do everything you need it to do for your gigs!. It gets better! If you need it to do something more ,all you have to do is ask! The support Eric gives is second to none! If he can incorporate it into this app he will ,he has done it for me on several occasions. Chord display
Is there a way to display chords differently? Many of the chords that are shown are not in the same fingering as I learned them. Can you provide a blank chord display option where I can add my own finger positions?lasather

lasather - Yes, you can edit the chord fingerings in the App. Just tap on the chord then select edit, or tap the + to add your own. You can also then select the fingering that you want to be the default. Also, the app now back ups and restores your custom chords. Email me at support@mysongbookapp.com for more information. One of my new favorite apps! I am just learning how to play stringed instruments. I chose this app because of the ability to switch between uke, mandolin, guitar and banjo. All of the instruments I have!! It even allows baritone uke, again, the style I have. I do kind of wish that you could set the default instrument for each song instead of just the whole library, but it’s not a showstopper. Thanks for making this app!!Show lessJud1958
