… super helpful to find boat launches and whatever area you’re looking for. I only wish that I could add comments. The most recent comments were pre-2021 and I’ve tried writing my own, but it doesn’t upload so I’m guessing whoever was in charge of that doesn’t work for this app anymore? This app has so much potential really wish, they would put more energy into it

Useless.
Find a location using this app, get there and no where to launch a kayak.
Suggestions
I love so much about this app. It’s so helpful to have a guide for paddle board launches. I also have a couple of suggestions: The favorites option is great. However, it would be helpful if there was also an option for saved places - places you want to check out. So there could be an easy way to save places you want to go to and a separate place in favorites for places you’ve gone to and liked. Also, it would be great if there were search filters so you can search for rivers, lakes, bays, etc.

Needs a comment feature
I just downloaded this and started playing around with it and it’s great! I think the easiest and biggest improvement however would be to allow commenting on specific sites. People could leave tips and tricks, directions, as well as maybe ratings. Although allowing ratings could be its own thing too. There should also be a spot for people to record cost of entrance, permits required, parking, or various passes associated with parks. A comment section would solve a lot of this without having to add a half dozen other features. Thank you!

Great for finding launch points-needs a trip map
I am using this app to find & plan places to SUP. I’ve added favorite places to my My Trip and cool that I can reorder the sites however…since I’m unfamiliar with the locations it’s difficult to know where each one is in relation to another. In other words the Trip feature needs to be able to produce an editable map so I can see where they are and reorganize in the proper order without clicking back into each site to find its location. Right now I have to plot each one on Google maps to get a route. Other than that I love the descriptions & photos provided.

Like that it shows launch sites
I have been trying to find a good app that shows launch sites for kayaks and this is the best one so far, I just wish when I’m trying to plan and launch and take out trip that it would show me the miles from each point so I know how long it will take me. I can’t find an app that lets me plan a trip with an estimated time frame.

It’s almost perfect
I’ve used the app for one trip and this far and it figurines seamlessly. I really like the trip planning feature. The one thing I wish it had was a description or review of the spot. I would love information on the trip itself. Like for instance, I want to put in, in a new spot on our local river. But I know that our river can be to shallow in places occasionally and has a few big waves and hydraulic lifts. Does this spot set me at those areas or am I far enough on front of it? It would be nice to know from previous users.

Content not updated or maintained
This app was probably great at one time but the content doesn’t seem to be updated anymore. Its rare to see a review that isn’t years old and many of the launch points do not even exist anymore. I’ve reported one in particular multiple times in the past years as non existent, yet its still up there. There are a lot of junk points noting things like tree hazards on rivers that are no longer applicable.
Bottom line, use it for an idea of where to go but always verify with outside sources to make sure its still usable info.
