Don't know why it took so long
You would think a good planner app that sinks with google calendar and others wouldn't be that hard to make, but this is seriously the first one that works and works well. A must have.
Reminders sync
A good start. Would make this app as my primary planner, if it can only sync the Todos with the built-in Reminders app. Sorry, but I need to delete this app for now.
Great App - but even better support!!
Dowloaded app, but had a problem similar to that reported by Primate1. Submitted e-mail to developer. In a few hours, was contacted by the developer Ethan. He told me that a fix had already been submitted to iTunes in v1.2, but it was still pending. He then worked to get me the fix, and sure enough, I'm up and running.
OUTSTANDING - This will now be my go to calendar app above all other!

There is real potential here...
I like the simplicity of the app. I like the "everything in one place" paradigm. The layout is (generally) clean and nice, mostly easy and intuitive.
A few deficits, though, that another revision of the software should address:
β’ no obvious "settings" -- so nowhere to customize (which is where many of my other "missing things" would need to be)
β’ stuck with their colors -- I have multiple colour-coded Google calendars, and there's no option to use those colours instead of the default red for everything
β’ all day events fill the whole day -- makes sense, but then anything else is somewhat "hidden" by the red block of colour. Many people, like me, use all day events to tag "major things in the day", but then need to also see the other events. This just isn't "standard" calendar behavior.
β’ tasks should sync with google -- tasks are great, but there's no point if they're stuck on my phone. I need my task lists everywhere I work.
β’ task & note day/due -- Along with the previous point, my tasks also need to be tied to specific days most of the time. It would also be nice to link notes to a specific day too.
β’ no easy way to get from the "list" view to a specific "day view" other than "today" -- I like to scroll through then "focus" on a day
β’ doesn't seem to be a landscape view -- some views (especially the way they've done the week view) just beg for landscape instead of portrait orientation
β’ iPad app missing -- with the potential of this app, should the "missing features" get filled in, I'll definitely want it on my iPad too!
EDIT/ADDITION:
The developers are terrific, friendly, and responsive. Within a few hours of an email, I received a personal response and had my questions/concerns answered. To me, that's worth a four-star review all by itself! Watch out for this app... I think it'll be a good one!

Crashes before opening!
Useless app, crashes on opening.
Very neat app!
This is a very well designed app. The ability to see at a glance and on the same page your Calendar, ToDo list and Notes all laid out in an uncluttered and beautiful UI is something to behold. If you love a good todo app as i do this app has you covered.
Best planner/calendar app by far
I love that you can update your to-dos while checking your schedule at the same time, (no need to open separate apps!) The developer is great about promptly responding to feedback. There are still a few minor bugs but overall using this app has been a fantastic experience.
Planning Heaven
I've always loved planning to keep my life organized, and as a recent college graduate starting a full-time job, I need to be more organized now than I have in the past. The Parker Planner has helped me to get my life focused and organized so I have all my appointments scheduled and organized. It is clear and simple to use. I suggest it for students, working professionals, and anyone else that would need a clear and simple planner on their Smartphone. The To-Do list is my favorite part. I hope the next version has a variety of colors to assign to my events, but other than that, I am enjoying the app.

Unusable for me
I downloaded the application after paying my $.99 and tried to run it but all I get is 20 seconds of splash screen. I erased and downloaded the application three more times thinking that there was a problem with the download. Still the application crashes. I have also rebooted my iPhone before each attempt and still no joy. I requested direction from the developer but, so far, I have received no reply. Not even an acknowledgment of the receipt of my request for help.
I am revising my review to say that the developer did contact me a day later. I can only give it one star, though, since the application crashes even after the newest upgrade. I found that I can open the app only if I cold boot my iPhone. Then, I discover that none of my appointments appear in the week view.

Best Planner App!
By far the best planner app.
It blends right in with your Calendar. It is simple and easy, yet effective in accomplishing the purpose of a planner. I've tried a few other planner apps before, but they're too difficult and complex that it becomes a hassle in itself to maintain the planner.
Parker Planner makes it simple and easy, without sacrificing quality.
