Great App, only minor annoyances
Everything about this app is great, except the alerts are queued annoyingly. If you don't open the app after each alert, and you get several alerts (door open/close, temperature out of range, phone enter/leave area, etc), you are greeted with the audio from each alert all at once. Awesome. Other than that, the app is great. The logging/graphing is awesome for identifying trends, and installing/disabling kumoapps is a snap.Show lessLeftyFTW
Humidor hero!!
This is a great product and the app is great also! I have 5 tags monitoring a wineador and a large humidor. I travel for work & it's great knowing I can monitor my cigars environment. It's reassuring to know my collection is safe while I'm a 1,000 miles away!buddha4you
Working well
I bought two 13 bit tags to monitor temperature. To calibrate I put them in a plastic bag and dunked them in ice slush. Took them 30 minutes to stabilize at near 32. I set them both the same at 32.6 because figured that was probably right for my setup. Ice point is hard to get to 32 outside of a lab. They adjust to rising temperatures much quicker than falling temperatures. Between 40 to 75 degrees they agree within 1/2 degree with each other and within 1-1/2 degrees of two low cost electronic thermometers. That is very good. After 3 weeks batteries still above 93%. Looking forward to using the Kumo app features. Humidity seems to track with my Nest. I haven't tested motion. The app is OK for my use but I think most people would find it confusing to set the tags up. But then the app and tags are a bit beyond the average person's needs.Show lessShardison
Great tags
Excellent product. Very convenient to use. We use them all around the house to keep up with temperatures inside, out and humidity and temperature in the crawlspace. Status of garage door open or closed. Graphs are great to track status over time. Easy to download stats to use in other programs.dwrede
Not that great
Great idea but poor implementation. I got 6 tags including 3 magnetic sensors. After one hour of all the tags sitting together on my kitchen table, there are about 4 degrees diference between all tags!! To me this is a big deal and real problem. I calibrated the sensors by they drift over time. As for the app it does not work on my 3GS 6.1 , it crashes after opening. Not worth the almost 300$ I spent.Show lessloscar22
Great
I love all the features and things one can do with the tags and the app. I have had no problems with it. I only wish they made a tag that had voltage measuring input, I can think of lots applications for one. Three wires, Gng, Vin and Vref out, all protected against shorts, etc.Mavin10
Reliable system
The sensors and app just keep working. No issues. Very reliable in a remote cabin over the last 6 months. Using to monitor freezer temp, inside temp, inside motion (breakin), and outside temp.

Suits me! Great app
Main use is was to monitor 3 fridges. Had fridge door left open 2 years ago and had to trash so many items. Then found tags and sleep better now. Have over stock fridges in basement. Alerts me door open or closed and current temp. I have now added to front and back doors of house!Pass don't buy

Great app & system
I use this to moniter my house when I travel abroud, because a while ago my water heater started to leak. Luckily I caught the leak a couple of minutes after it started, limiting the damage. Because of that, I use this system to warn me, when I'm not home. It is also very reasonable priced, when you compare a 20$ sensor to 100s if not 1000s of dollars of damage, it makes it worth it. I also enjoy the long battery life. The app does logout after a while, and it doesn't offer email support which would be nice, so if an alarm is triggered you would be pushed an email no matter whether you have the app open or not. Also, it would be nice to have customizable alerts sound. Overall it makes me feel safe to leave my house, confident it'll be the same when I come back.Show lesszmilyface
