Great app
It is my go to guitar app. At present I am messing about in open G and wondered what chords I am playing - StringMaster will tell me. And when I need to check the scales - they are all there.
The app is well designed and easy to use. I recommend it.Panchestor
What happened?
I got this app about a year ago and was really impressed with it at that time. It use to work great and would have recommended it to any one interested. However about a month ago it was updated and since then I can't even get it to load. Totally worthless. I'm looking to replace it now with something that at least works.Show lesscKhodabakhsh

I downloaded the new version and now the app won't open but crashes EVERY time. I went to the website to get the Manual for support and that won't even download.T2182012

I love this app; been using it for quite some time.
However, with this new upgrade, they have destroyed much of the functionality of MIDI.
If this can be corrected, it will be deserving of 5 stars.Focusking

An absolute gem
I started playing guitar 30 years ago and want to really refocus on it again.
This app does so much so well. It's a great chord finder. It's a great scale finder for any key. But The system is so well integrated to help any aspiring guitarist understand chords (harmony) and how they relate to scales ( melody). This is further developed in the excellent Songwriter mode which shows which chords work best for a certain key......and then suggests the best chord options as you map out your ideas.
I really recommend this for all guitarists who want a resource that will help get them to the next level. Well done to the developers. Thanks!Show lessnrhendry
