I have been reading Prospect for nearly ten years and have found it to be an excellent location for informative articles and insightful commentary across a broad range of high impact political and geopolitical events from IndyRef, Brexit, De Pfieffel’s debacle on covid throughly Putin’s war in Ukraine. Keep up the great work.

Awful app
Prospect is a decent magazine. However, it is really let down by this app which is what this review is for.
The app should not try to replicate the hard copy. It does not need to. It makes it more difficult to navigate. Take a leaf out of The Economist’s book. They’ve shown how it should be done.

Exceptionally thoughtful articles
Prospect is full of exceptionally thoughtful articles on a variety of topics. Not necessarily an easy read, but well-written and intelligent. The app has improved enormously since the reviews of two or three years ago and now works fine on the iPad, offering ‘reader view’ and proper scrolling.
Great way to enjoy Prospect
App works well on iPad. A better experience than reading pieces on the website - a useful complement to the print edition
The app is terrible
Prospect is a great, high quality magazine - they should be embarrassed about this app, it is awful. I have a subscription but cannot log in - I’ve tried everything. On the one time I logged in it was pretty rubbish anyway - clunky, difficult to navigate and just essentially full page prints of the magazine, not optimised for a device in any way. Deleted.

This app is rubbish
If I could give it 0 I would. Every time I open it it wants me to login but it doesn’t remember the status. As I have a print subscription I expect to have access to a digital version of of each copy. However that isn’t the case. I have other subscriptions-Economist, LRB that work fine.

Enjoying my subscription to Prospect; a fascinating and well-crafted publication, great to have access to it from my pocket.
There is an unfortunate abundance of poor, near-unusable applications around, but I’ve found this simple, easy to navigate and have encountered no issues at all with getting to my purchased content.
App works great equally with mobile-friendly or tablet version, which offers your instalments in different accessible formats such that, once downloaded, you can read comfortably offline.

The thinking man's App!
Prospect has for a long time been the magazine for those of us who want proper debate not soundbites.
The app version continues the magazine's tradition of non-partisan ideas that challenge your set beliefs. I would thoroughly recommend it.
The update to the app has made reading Prospect in this format much more enjoyable too.
