As great as Mounce's BBG and its companion materials are, they seem incomplete without this most helpful app. Drilling forms with this will do wonders to straighten out the muddle you probably have in your head after, say, finishing the indicative mood in chapter 25. Start screen needs improving
While this app is very helpful for practicing parsing Greek vocab, it would be nice if the book and chapters didn't need to be reset every time the app is opened. Maybe the selected chapters and text book could be saved in settings and not require changing unless the user wants to change them. It would also help if one could select a chapter range (choosing the first and last chapter, for example) instead of having to click each chapter box individually. Not sure if this is the case with some of the textbooks, but for Mounce it is very tedious to have to select everything individually every time I go to use the app--even if I leave the app running in the background.
Otherwise a good app, and it did help me prep for my final, but it's annoying to have to set my study preferences every time.Show lessTA11379
Great Greek app
This is a great app and very helpful as you work to memorise the different Greek tenses, voices, moods, persons and numbers. I have found it extremely beneficial and highly recommend it.
I have noticed that at times it will mark your answer as incorrect when in fact your answer is one of two or more possible correct answers. For instance, λύῃ is present, subjunctive, middle/passive, 2nd person singular. It is also the present, subjunctive, active, 3rd person, singular. The app will mark you right when you give one of these answers and then later give the same problem a second time. If you answer it the same, instead of giving the alternate possible answer, you will be marked as wrong. It is not a big issue but it can be confusing if you haven't learned the alternate answer yet. It would be great if when there are multiple right answers this was somehow indicated.

Very Useful App But...
I've been looking for this kind of app for awhile. Since I'm attempting to learn Greek on my own, I'm always in need of someone to quiz me. With this app I'm now able to quiz myself wherever I'm at.
The only problem I have is that some of the answers it requires are wrong. Such as when parsing pas, pasa, pav. This is very frustrating when you think you know something and yet the app continually insists you supply a different answer. If I want to be successful, I need a teacher that always correct.Show lessLogosmadeflesh
Almost perfect, just needs Hebrew now
This app is wonderful and does exactly what my Greek class and I need for studying. This app is one of those rare things that actually do what they say in the description which I really appreciate! Also, it's awesome that the app is universal!
ps If you can make a biblical Hebrew parsing app my class and I will also definitely buy it so please please please make a Hebrew parsing app one just like this Greek one!!!

Just buy it already
Back in undergrad I used Croy for greek grammar and our professor was a retired marine. Needless to say, he drilled us over and over again and the course load was very overwhelming, but 80% of it was having to discipline yourself to repeat the lectures and memorize vocabulary ad nauseum. This app would've made those years so much easier for me! If only! But alas, if you're still in undergrad or a very unmotivated learner sometimes like me, get this app. It's like playing a game, only you're learning!Show lessDaPeetz
