Great App in Need of an Update
I use this app (and the French equivalent) quite frequently and love them both. They offer great translations as well as audio pronunciations. I want to suggest three features that would make these apps 5-star worthy:
1- Support for the new iPhone X and iPad Pro display sizes in order to truly take advantage of each
2- The ability to either search both sides (English to X and X to English) at the same time, or the ability to switch between the two searches without having to re-type the search query term to speed up searching as sometimes one may forget to check which dictionary is selected, and if it's the wrong one, switching erases the term requiring it to be typed in again to search the other dictionary
3- iPad multitasking support. The ability to simply slide-over into these apps or to have it sitting side-by-side with a document or book would be a wonderful, time-saving convenienceShow lessPotter6Plus

Great off-line application. Could use a switch language button within the search bar in case you want to quickly change your search option from Spanish to English. Word reference has this feature and it's very useful.sgamer
Ideal travel companion
A great English-Spanish dictionary, accessible with or without internet access. I have several apps to help with my Spanish but this is my first choice.Clifftech
The best dictionary around. Shame about the ads.
This is a FANTASTIC Dictionary. A lot of hard word has gone into it, but the ads are annoying. However, I guess it must be paid for somehow.julwalsh

Very useful app
I use this all the time as I live in Spain and need uncomplicated access to an extensive range of vocab and expressions. One annoying feature is the default to English, but thats a minor pointlosbelones

This app was great until I gave it a review - now there's an ad every time I look up a single word!!! - review did say: Super word looker-upper - so comprehensive and works offline too!187386
Great dictionary
Loads of various definitions and examples, very easy to use, very extensive vocabulary. Also has pronunciation via speaker. A very very useful app for anyone wanting to learn Spanish. Other languages in this series are equally good - very well done whoever created these dictionaries. Would have given it five stars but now some cleverdick has decided to shove popup ads into it!!! Now an ad comes up every time i look up a word. EVERY TIME!!! It's become totally unusable I'm going to uninstall it. What a shameShow lessSpadhead
