Reviews of Japanese Flashcards

  • Wrong English and error messages

This app seems to be attempting to create a comprehensive set of flash cards, which is good, but there are many misspellings in English, i.e. “Buildings and Drewllings” or “reed” instead of read. Too, some flash card sets produce an error message. The app is REALLY sloppy. Since they want a monthly subscription, they need to do a lot better before I will give this a better rating.
  • Amazing for a free app

I'm learning the Japanese language little by little, but I only know hiragana and zero kanji. I'd be nice to switch between them and also hear the sound of each word to understand pronunciation.
  • Good App with a Few Flaws

For a free app, you get a good amount of material to study from. However, there is no option to switch the romaji to kana. This is probably my biggest pet peeve when it comes to effectively studying Japanese. If this gets fixed then I'll change my review and bump it up to five stars. :)
