This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. OnCue Prompter 4.4 has some improvements in scrolling and new buttons for navigating from the main view. We also added support for Bluetooth 4.0 iCade Remotes that will work with the lates iOS devices being released with Bluetooth 4.2 and higher.

In addition to some minor improvements with the scrolling interface, there are two major improvements in Version 2.0. The first is a "Free Scroll" feature that allows you to quickly browse forward or backward in the loaded script and start scrolling from a newly selection position. However, the biggest improvement in Version 2.0 is the addition of Dual Screen support which allows you to be able to hook up you iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to any conventional teleprompter that supports a VGA input and output the scrolling text, either flipped or not flipped to the secondary display. This feature completely eliminates the need for a laptop or desktop computer with a number of conventional 12" , 15", 17", 19" and bigger teleprompters. Simply plug you IOS device into the teleprompter and start scrolling. OnCue Prompter is the first teleprompter software capable of mirroring and flipping the output of video to an external monitor. Now, you can used you IOS device to operated a teleprompter and not be limited to a smaller screen. You will see the exact wording that is scrolling on your IOS device presented on any size screen. Only the scrolling text is visible, all of the menus and controls are only visible on the IOS device. IMPORTANT: To use the Dual Display feature you do need to purchase a VGA adaptor for you iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.

OnCue Prompter is an IOS Teleprompter app that will work with iPhone's and IPad's and can be controlled over a network connection by connecting devices over Bluetooth or Wifi and can be controlled by any iCade multi-function Bluetooth Controller. By using a multi-function controller instead of a multimedia controller like the other teleprompter apps, you will have tons of additional functionality with the remote control like fast-forward / rewind, changing the font size, starting the script at the top again, and more. You don't need any special remotes or remote apps to control the scrolling, it can be done using one of the devices that are connected. Simply swiping the screen speeds-up and slows-down the scroll and tapping on the screen pauses. Good for free but not professional

Has a pretty complete package of features but they’re buggy, it crashes, but the one killer for me is that the remote control is so laggy and jittery that I simply can’t use it for professional work. Then having no usable controller, I’m left to do a let of guesswork with clients and that’s a no no.

When running in mirror mode it causes the device to go upside down even after you exit the app.

Buggy

This app is as buggy as a freshman project

For instance if the script goes to the end it starts over

Not a problem, but it stops responding to any commands

You have to reboot the app and don’t let it get to the end

Vendor is completely blind and says I am too dumb to operate it.

Master’s in electricAl engineering is too dumb
