The time is set to 23 minutes for each side and cannot be changed unless you pay for upgrade.
Free version is just a demo really
You have to pay if you want anything other than the default of 23 mins for each player.

Works ok on my iPhone 4S/ios5 but not on the ipad4/ios7... fix Pleez! And I upgraded!

This one does not work really well. The button the stop your clock does not work very well. You often have to tap twice or hold your finger on the button. Not real good for speed chess!
