News is usually current, but alerts never clear. I have 9+ now, even after manually clearing. Lots of ads

This app is so limited in what you can read. It is terrible! Totally useless!
Where's the Local News? Not here...
World / national news, but no local news anymore. Same "news articles" as the Winston Salem Journal app. I'm deleting both. As a long time reader of the Record and Landmark, I am very disappointed with this latest update.

Loved it. Great reading experience .
Poor layout
The new upgraded app fails to come close to the old one. Too much is left out, and I miss the advertisements from local companies, not to mention what is happening around town. Bring back the traditional newspaper layout, and stop wasting money on the company that developed this poor excuse for a newspaper app.

I liked the old app better, so you can see the whole paper page by page. Not liking this new version.

What happened to the old format which showed full page views? I would think that the advertisers would prefer that format also since it showed their ads. The new format leaves a lot to be desired! I discontinued the subscription service of the paper a long time ago. Now I no longer use their app either.
