The app is great.
I have made great use of this app over the last 3 months.
Would be cool if video had sound and more lenses are added.
However it does what it says it'll do.

This is a cool idea but... as soon as you swipe to the next shape you’re into the upgrade stream. I understand people have to make a living but you have no time to get to know the app before you feel pressured into buying. The shapes listed are limited and the app itself is minimalistic. The effects are trippy but my reason for downloading the app was to see the animations. I appreciate the effort the developers have made but this app is not for me. There isn’t a single kaleidoscope that has an intuitive gui and does animation well, that is a big shame.

Only records in portrait mode, no audio, and only 3 lenses to choose from. Don’t expect much from this app and you won’t be disappointed.

Upgrade
Hi guys! I've been using this app for years for graphic design and I really love it! However the upgrade isn't as good can I get the old one back ? There is a function that you guys removed that I liked it was giving more fredom on the part you wanted to show inside the cropping area. Now when I pick an image to load all it does is apply the shape repetition. :/ not fun

720p ONLY (2017)
I couldn't find any information on the apps recording resolution in the description. I decided to buy it only to find out 720p is the only supported res. ;( Willing to give a better review once 1080p resolution is available.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I wanted to find an app that would turn my phone into a kaleidoscope & take pictures when I was pleased with the design after turning, zooming, etc. This is it!!! I downloaded several before I found this. After just a few minutes I'm already in love with this app! I have so many ideas on how I'm going to use it. And it's free!! Thank you!!

Great app but needs sound on video!!!
Got this app and paid for the full version purely because I wanted to make videos with music but there is no sound in the video! It baffles me that you would make an app that has video capabilities but restrict the audio!???? Please update the app and add video otherwise I've wasted my money!
