Perpetual Crash
App keeps crashing on 3GS, 4 & 4S. Switching to other news app.
Seriously?
Very badly done pop-up ads at the start make Channel News Asia look like a cheap blog instead of a reliable source of news. If the objective was to make us look for alternatives - well done!
Reinstall to fix crashes
The app kept crashing on start up until I deleted it and downloaded it again from the AppStore. Some internal data structures must have changed since the last release. This bug must have slipped the testing phase. Also, the app tends to freeze and become unresponsive, especially when switching pages. There seems to be some network activities that were running on the main thread ui instead of launching a separate thread. The programmers of this new release need to understand that time consuming activities should not be executed on the main ui thread. That is iOS programming 101. Please refactor this app and pay your technical debt!

App not stable
Was using CNA app for a long time till last week when app became unstable. Close immediate after launching. Deleted and reinstalled but still faced the same issue.

If I could give this app zero stars, I would. It crashes 99.9% of the time. What a joke.

Works fine for me
Having used the old app, this one is soo much better. Don't understand why others are not having much luck. Maybe something wrong with their iphone. I'm using ios 6.0.1 on iphone 4s btw.
