This is the Cadillac of sudoku puzzles. I have been playing this for more than 10 years, and it gives you challenging puzzles, variety in grid and number options, and even the chance to work on sudoku puzzles from your own sources. You can also “rewind” the puzzles, to correct older mistakes.
Only allows simple puzzles
Purchased ad-free version years ago and has been best Sudoku, hands down. Now V 4.4 has been crippled so can only choose simple puzzles. If I try to “upgrade” even though I shouldn’t have to, that functionality doesn’t work either. Please update app to fix this as I see another review with same problem.

Almost perfect sudoku
Only one criticism of this otherwise excellent, easy to use sudoku. I use it almost every day at the level below master level but occasionally, when I open the app, it only gives the Simple option, all other levels indicate having to upgrade to continue. To overcome this irritation I have to delete the app completely and then download again.
Stop this irritation and it is a 5 star Sudoku.

I’m mad! I bought the full version years ago and then it was changed and I could no longer do the master level puzzles, now you’ve changed it again and not only can I not do the master level puzzles, but I can’t even do the very hard level puzzles either. Why did I buy it in the first place, and why would I purchase it again if you’re just going to change it again and make me buy it again. It’s criminal! This will be the third time I’ve bought this game! CRIMINAL

The levels have disappeared, only ‘Simple’ shows now.
I would also like to enter two numbers in one square to keep track of possible entries. my favourite game

I love this suduko. I can't stop playing. I find the master level quite challenging and do wonder how many I have to complete to rise above"novice"Thank you for giving it to us I don't think I will ever get bored with it.

Better now - great tools
I only use electronic Sudoku to help solve newspaper puzzles when I get stuck. In that respect, I'm misusing this game. However, the tools available for solving puzzles are amazing. This has taught me strategies that have aided me in paper solutions. Since my last review they’ve changed the app again. Once more I can enter my own puzzles, and this time there’s an eraser. I don’t think it was there before. If it was, I’m an idiot! It’s been a while since I’ve used this app, so I’ll have to get used to the tools again. I really like the “ball of twine” that allows me to retrace my steps to a branch point, and the ability to colour my entries is helpful too. More once I check everything out.
