Major app flaw makes it unusable
The content is good, this review is on the app, not its content. The app is not compatible with the iPhone’s native Spoken Content feature. Every time I select using it to listen to an article within the app, it navigates to another article rather than reading the one I was on, and speaks the “content” of only the three buttons and then stops (🤯). To me, this is a go-no-go feature, as not having it working well makes the content completely not accessible to me. BTW, I opted to use it on the web version, and i find that it consistently makes my phone freeze and requires a hard restart to make it functional again. For the record, I use this feature constantly, and it never happens. (iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16.2). Ultimately, Haaretz may have great content, but I can’t consume it, so, unfortunately, I’ll have to cancel my subscription.Show lessGori20

I like differing opinions from all sides, but this even colors the news stories with subjective remarks as to motive of IDF shooter in one article and other subjective innuendos throughout.
This is strictly a hit piece against Netanyahu and the new government.
Additionally it is very difficult to cancel a subscription. I’ve been trying without success.

Haaretz is a world class reliable source of news. The banner ad upon opening the app is extremely annoying. There is sometimes no way of closing it so prevents displaying the news.sharonboston

האפליקציה כבדה מאד ועל כן לעיתים איטית מאד. בהשוואה לדוגמה לאפליקציית N12 .
ניתן לקרוא את העיתון באפליקציה רק אנכית ולא במאוזן.
אפשרות קריאת המאמרים לפי דרוג ונושאים מתאימה ונוחה.ארץ חדשה

גורם למכשיר להתחמם
כתבתי בעבר שהאפליקציה גורמת למכשיר שלי להתחמם. אז הייתי עם איייפון SE ישן. מאז עברתי לאייפון 12 מיני. יצא מהקופסא לפני שבוע. ונחשו מה? המכשיר מתחמם לאחר 15-20 דקות שימוש. לא קורה באף אפליקציה אחרת.TORaptor

תודה על המשוב. באפליקציה ישנם פיצ'רים שאינם קיימים באתר המובייל כגון קריאה במצב לילה, מעבר מהיר ונוח בין כתבות ומדורים באמצעות swipe, שיתוף מהיר של כתבות באמצעות לחיצה ארוכה על הכותרת, האזנה לפודקאסטים דרך נגן מיוחד ועוד ועוד. כמו כן, האפליקציה אינה גורמת למכשירים להתחמם, כולל במכשיר אייפון SE עליו ביצענו בדיקה נוספת בעקבות משובך. אנא פנה אלינו עם פרטי התקשרות במייל וננסה לסייע לך בסוגיה זו: mobile@haaretz.co.ilאפליקציה איומה
למרות תשלומי המנוי, לפני פתיחת כתבות, קיימות פרסומות לפעמים ללא אפשרות סגירה מיידית.
האפליקציה לא זוכרת את פרטי המנוי,ולעיתים קרובות לפני פתיחה מבקשת הרשמה וסיסמה למרות שאני פותח באותם מכשירים באופן קבוע.
באייפד אי אפשר, לפחות בשלי לפתוח את האפליקציה במצב אנכי.

Crashes many times in my updated iPhone. They say they fixed bugs but it is all the same. Too many features make the app heavy and too much refreshing occurs when you enter an article.Erezn
