Great Publication....bad App
Love this publication but the App crashes after 30sec of viewing. Also the photography in the articles is low rez...Not good for a publication about cinematography. Update for IPad Pro???Richiegretz

Awful app
This app is frankly a bit of an embarrassment. Sadly the app is one of the buggiest I've come across, it's extremely slow, and the issues are delivered incredibly low resolution (but still take forever to download!). It actually all feels like a bit of a scam.Jacob Sacks-Jones
Always Starts Crashing
App starts, app crashes. I rarely use this app because it's so buggy, after a couple of clicks, it crashes! Better off really because I'll read the magazine instead.Fartin Scorsese
Poor poor quality app - expected more
Expected more from this app, especially coming from the circles of today's more renowned filmmakers. Not up to industry standard in terms of layout efficiency, login process for new subscribers is daunting and I cannot get access to older issues. I feel like I wasted my $35, and should be fully refunded. There is no credible link for new subscribers to gain access to Login forms and sign-up. I still haven't figured it out.

The used to be great tablet magazine, now the app constantly freezes and crashes, unusable. Issues take forever to load even when downloaded. It is constantly loading something in the background slowing everyhting down.Mister rom
VASTLY IMPROVED
Or I'm assuming it is. Because as a subscriber to Cinematographer, I can now download my digital editions in a snap, at no extra charge, and read them on my iPad, instead of off the screen of my MacBook. I don't seem to be experiencing any of the problems of the people who reviewed the earlier release, before the update. The images look crisp, the text is easy to read and the interface is about an 8 out of 10. So I'm loving it.Show lessMrRi
App does not work
This is a total rip off. The app is lousy: it takes between 10 and 20 seconds to load a page, you always get this stupid banner you can't get rid off, when you're losing wifi connection you are loosing the issue you are currently reading... But the worse was that I was charged twice for the same subscription. And the developer is totally unresponsive. I should have read what the reviews said so I would not have waisted twice $30.Show lessMakTruk
Completely broken
This app won't even let me in anymore. Before they updated it downloads would never finish it at least I could still read the issues. The issues are also very low res. complete waste of money.tenhold
