  • Awesome update 3.14

The latest update is most welcome with the live view from the space station. Love it!
All that is missing in the live view is an overlay showing the position of the space station so that we have an idea when it is in the day zone of the earth.
  • It would look nice on my TV... ;(

I understand the business decision to create and release a separate version of this app specific to the new Apple TV, but I don't have to like it. To be honest I have gotten little use out of the iPad version and if they had updated it to work with my new Apple TV then I would have been likely to give it a much higher rating as the content would have been simpler to share with others... After all, It is sort of inherently a TV app. But, I see absolutely no reason to spend more money on this app that I already own. It's just not worth it to me. They will likely claim a technical reason (developers oftentimes do) but I doubt that greatly... This is a quite simple app and I have already seen other much more complex apps that I own made fully universal. So I am off to give those developers rave reviews, and my thanks for doing what I feel is the right thing.

  • Good start but....

Some beautiful space scenes but it gets boring quite quickly as there is so little content to choose from, and I don't want to buy the add-on Magic Window app because I just bought this!

No Chromecast support and you can't choose your own music, only the new-age sounding dream music.
  • Very very cool

This app is awesome. I recommend streaming to your HDTV from your iPhone or iPad via Apple TV.
  • No real action

Images are prerecorded and probably edited, so we couldn't see any other activities or objects that we're not 'allowed' to see in outer space. How about a real time video stream from the Earth's orbit without editing?
  • Not what I wanted.

What I wanted was an app that would let you look at different angles of where the northern lights are and other stuff like that. Not just a circulation of the globe.
  • Great pictures but boring

I downloaded this when I found out it was free. The pictures are beautiful and it's amazing to see our beautiful Earth. However, I was expecting that the pictures would be updated every so often. After a while it's boring to see the same stuff over and over again.
  • Cool app, bad description

I like the app but the description has a major inaccuracy. According to the app description it works perfectly on old devices and this would make be "a great use of your old ipad1 or 2". I would love to use this on my old iPad 1, unfortunately all iPad 1's are stuck on iOS 5.1.1 due to hardware limitations , and will probably never advance beyond that point. Unfortunately this app requires iOS 7.0 or above, so the original iPad owners are out of luck unless jetson creative lowers the requirement. I hope they do because this would be very nice on my dusty iPad 1.

  • Pretty photos but awkward interface

Nice photos and interesting for about three minutes. Doesn't really do much after the initial oooh factor.
  • So big

I love this app so far, but notice there is no live feed and the app is very large, 500mb!
